International News Title: Paul Ryan's policies kill jobs in his district Paul Ryans free-trade policies have just cost the people of his district their jobs. General Electric announced it will close the plant in Ryans district that manufactures gas engines and move the operation to Canada. This is fine with Mr. Ryan. He has taken the European Union principle of the free flow of people, goods and capital across borders and adopted it as his own worldview and philosophy. President Obama praised Ryan for his stand on immigration and trade, policies that would make it easier for global corporations to import people or products from overseas without worrying about pesky things called national borders. As chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Ryan led the charge to give Obama extra-constitutional powers to enact the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a sweeping international regulatory body, and strip Congress of its ability to amend whatever pact Obama proposes. We have learned that the pact what Obama calls the rules for the world economy will make it easier for companies to bring foreign guest workers into this country, as well as ship jobs out of this country. Should he become speaker of the House, Ryan will be in charge of shepherding Obamatrade through the House. The 350 GE workers making engines in southeastern Wisconsin are the latest but by no means the only victims of Ryans open-borders philosophy. GE moved its health-care division headquarters from Waukesha, Wisconsin, to London, England, in 2004. Its moving its 115-year-old X-ray unit from Waukesha to China. It has announced it will ship 400 jobs from various states to Europe, as well as another 100 jobs from a facility outside of Houston to Hungary and China. GEs claim that the moves are related to the demise of the Export-Import Bank has been thoroughly debunked. Though the company received billions in bailouts from U.S. taxpayers a bailout Paul Ryan supported it has been moving jobs and factories overseas long before Ex-Im was an issue. GE CEO Jeff Immelt chairs the Presidents Council on Jobs and Competitiveness, but you notice the council doesnt say where the jobs are, nor who or what should be competitive. Thats not an oversight its typical Washington doublespeak. Ryan and his ilk work for the crony capitalists, and it is these insiders, not the citizens of the U.S., who must be competitive. And if it means moving jobs offshore, fine. The slow thinkers in Washington still act as if we are in the 1950s, the days of Whats good for General Motors is good for America. But today, whats good for the bottom line of American-in-name-only global corporations is not necessarily good for our country and our citizens. Whether they are moving factories from Santa Clara to Shenzen, or moving people from Bangalore to Orlando, the current crop of executives proudly crow they have no responsibility to America. Washington policymakers and politicians like Paul Ryan share this mindset. Describing his job as a congressman, Ryan said, What we do is we take different peoples perspectives. The gentleman from India whos waiting for his green card. The DREAMer who is waiting. We take all these different perspectives. We process it through our values and our morals and our principles. And then we come up with the answer to try and solve this problem. Thats basically what we do in our jobs. You would be forgiven for thinking that a congressmans job is to take the perspective of the American citizens who live in the district that elected him, or the perspective of whats good of the American nation as a whole. But such thinking is anachronistic, according to the globalist worldview. The European Union was founded to promote the free flow of people and goods across borders. The United Nations believes people should be able to move in a borderless world as easily from Mexico to Chicago as they move now from New York to Phoenix. We hear that notion echoed by the man eager to be the next speaker of the House. America is more than just a country, Ryan said. Its more than our borders. America is an idea. Over at Breitbart.com, Julie Hahn noted, This statement is significant because while a country has borders, ideas do not. Ideas dont have borders, but as a few hundred people in Paul Ryans district just learned, they do have consequences. Paul Ryan, & his ilk are assholes, and need to be removed from office. I will never vote for an incumbent, regardless of party. Si vis pacem, para bellum Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who don't Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.
This is fine with Mr. Ryan. " Maybe the people of his district should use imported rope & use him as a tree ornament ! Si vis pacem, para bellum Those who beat their swords into plowshares will plow for those who don't Rebellion to tyrants is obedience to God.
