he Danes have done it again. The travel company behind Do it for Denmark, the ad watched by eight million people on YouTube that urges Danes to procreate for their country, has launched another video. This time, it is encouraging Danes to lie back and think of their mothers in a bid to make more grandchildren, in Do it for Mom.
A white-haired woman in her 60s sits on a park bench, looking wistfully at a grandmother feeding the ducks with her granddaughter. A John Lewis ad-style voiceover tells us: You were there when your son learned to walk (cue footage of mother and son through the decades) you were there when he learned how to ride a bike. And when he learned how to read. But when it comes to making children, it might be a bit awkward to help out At this point, we cut to a man and a woman in their underwear enjoying a passionate embrace while Denmarks answer to June Whitfield tiptoes in and gives her son a hand removing his partners bra.
I don't think it is weird at all. What I thought was weird were all the leftist that kept preaching about world overpopulation back in the 50's and 60's,and telling the people in civilized countries to NOT have children, while feeding and giving medical care to 3rd world parasites so they could have litters.
There is something seriously wrong with the Scandinavian genetic makeup that causes them to blindly fall in line with anything and everything suggested as being "good for the world". They do this without even having any real discussion or thinking about it. The natural result is no children and a declining population base that encourages you to import all the litters of children that were born to the 3rd world parasites whose prime thoughts always orbit around "Me hungry" or "Me horny".

This article came from the Guardian, so I would expect that kind of sentiment from the Brits.
Here, it used to be a point of pride to have many grandchildren. It is a shame that now many "grandparents" think twice about asking you to bring a child up in this most degenerate environment. The political environment is such that "you shouldn't be responsible for a child's upbringing; that is for the State to do."

Don't worry, the American Left is wanting to import those ideals and condition the youth to that same kulture. They draw closer to their mangnus opus every year!
Similar campaigns didn't work so well in either Russia or Japan.
People in Japan and Russia didn't have anywhere to live, either. Back in the "good old Soviet days" it was common to have two and sometimes 3 families living in the same apartment, and sharing one bathroom and one kitchen. Most slept on fold-out couches in the living room.
How many kids would YOU want to have while living in those circumstances? More importantly, how many of the people who share the apartment with you want to have to put up with all the smells and noise of a infant when they all live in the same room and have to sleep so they can go to work?
Japan was and is better in the sense that families didn't share apartments, but a 2 or more bedroom apartment in Japan is horrendously expensive.
I don't think any of the Scandinavian countries have these problems.

We recently had an article on the millions of Japanese homes that had no tenants. They can't interest the young people in them. Or marriage. Or children. Or not committing suicide stylishly in a favorite suicide park or bridge location.

The Japanese children are born into a different world today than the day of their parents and grandparents. No longer is the ultimate goal to become a "made company man" that worked insane hours and put company ahead of self and family.
The old 20th century song "How are you going to keep them down on the farm, once they have seen gay paree?" applies.
I can only imagine the effects the internet and open communications have had in Russia. Last time I was there was in the mid-90's,and very few people had PC's at home even then.
