"With a big boost from women, Dr. Ben Carson leads Donald Trump 28 - 20 percent among Iowa likely Republican Caucus participants, with 13 percent for Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida and 10 percent for Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released today," the Quinnipiac release reads. "This compares to the results of a September 11 survey by the independent Quinnipiac (KWIN-uh-pe-ack) University showing Trump at 27 percent with Carson at 21 percent. "Today, Sen. Rand Paul is at 6 percent, with Carly Fiorina and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 5 percent each. No other candidate tops 3 percent, with 3 percent undecided. "Carson tops Trump 33 - 13 percent among women. Men are divided as 25 percent back Carson and 24 percent go with Trump. "Trump tops the 'no way' list as 30 percent of Iowa likely Republican Caucus participants say they 'would definitely not support' him for the GOP nomination. Bush is next on this "no way" list with 21 percent. "For 28 percent of Republican Caucus-goers a candidate who shares their values is most important, while 23 percent most want a candidate who is honest and trustworthy." A new poll finds that Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson is beating Donald Trump in Iowa. The poll has been released by Quinnipiac University.

I said it before (when Trump was leading Iowa) -- way too much emphasis is placed on that state. Candidates put everything they've got into Iowa, figuring if they win they'll get more money.
No matter what else happens in this election cycle,that is GREAT news! Now,if only his criminal son gets defeated when he runs for office in Texas,we may finally be done with the Bush Crime Family. I'm really surprised that Cruz is not doing better. Maybe trump is taking his voters? Im sorry but Ben Carson just is out of his element and I think would be a disaster. White guilt is a deadly disease that harms the innocent!
The unfavorable ratings are important. Hillary has lots of 'em too. The candidate who only makes you a little nauseous, wins over the real pukers. Carson has a lot of sweethearts in Iowa. He's killing Trump on the women's vote. They like the sweet doctor, not the brash tycoon. And Carson apparently has equal appeal with Iowa men to Trump. Carson's got Girl Power in Iowa.

Obviously, some women in Iowa don't agree with you. They have the first vote in the 2016 contest and you don't.
All the work that women went through to get the right to vote. Then finally get it and they throw it away by voting for the candidate that's "sweet". What a joke.
I want to make sure I understand what you are saying. Do you equate Carson with Obomber because they are both (ok,one of them) black,and do you also think Carson is a Muslim? I don't know, but one of those might improve Hilary’s appearance. Men vote about as stupidly as women do, they just go for a different set of dumb tricks than women do.
I read on another forum that Carson has appeared with Al Sharpton, & said they have the same goals, and also indicated a connection with L Farrakan. If true, once that gets our in MSM, that will be the end of Carson.

It isn't a bad strategy, considering that Hitlery is now the presumed nominee for the Dems and Carson will be the only black candidate in the GOP race. Particularly in states with open primaries.
