Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina speaks at a presidential forum sponsored by Heritage Action at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, Sept. 18, 2015, in Greenville, S.C.

Carly Fiorina has officially made it onto the short list of candidates being considered by the Koch Brothers’ network of donors -- potentially opening the door to a deep pool of money.

Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce, the Koch brothers’ umbrella group, which includes a sprawling network of conservative donors, confirmed to ABC News that Fiorina is one of the five candidates on the donor network’s watch list.

"Governor Jeb Bush, Carly Fiorina and Senators Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Marco Rubio are leading a thoughtful and substantive discussion on the issues and we look forward to hearing more about their vision for the country,” Freedom Partners spokesman James Davis told ABC News.

Fiorina's addition to list serves as a signal that her newly attained top-tier status is being taken seriously by conservative donors and will likely mean increased access for Fiorina to Freedom Partners’ deep-pocketed donors.

The news also comes after Reuters reported earlier this week that the Koch Brothers were taking a “serious look” at Fiorina following her strong debate performances and subsequent jump in the polls.

The Koch brothers first revealed a list of five candidates whom they were considering helping financially back in April, and it has remained unchanged until now. In April, the list included former Bush, Cruz, Paul, Rubio and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who effectively removed himself from the list when he dropped out of the race last month.

While Fiorina has now attained a new stature within the Koch brothers’ network, this is not her first foray into their world. The Kochs donated to Fiorina’s unsuccessful senate bid against California Sen. Barbara Boxer in 2010.

And in August, Fiorina was invited to address a Freedom Partners gathering. Bush, Walker, Rubio, and Cruz also addressed the gathering. But there were some notable absences. Paul, who was invited to address the gathering, did not attend. And the party’s frontrunner, Donald Trump, did not receive an invitation. Another surging candidate in the race who has yet to receive a nod from the Koch brothers is retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson.

The Kochs and their network aren’t the only big name, wealthy donors considering opening their pocketbooks for Fiorina.

Texas oil tycoon T. Boone Pickens reportedly hosted a luncheon for her back in September. And venture capitalist and former fellow HP board member Tom Perkins, who voted to fire Fiorina as HP’s CEO but has since said he regrets the decision and has run a full-page ad in the New York Times to say so, is also said to be planning a California fundraiser for the presidential candidate in the coming weeks.

Fiorina’s fundraising figures from the most recent reporting quarter have yet to be announced by her campaign but Fiorina has said that she is satisfied with her fundraising efforts, which have seen a boost along with her polling numbers in recent months.

Fiorina's camp did not immediately comment.

Yep. The Koch bros love open borders!

Carly Fiorina (aka Cara Carleton Sneed) sits on the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum, a United Nations organization responsible for shoving nations around the world into global governance. - “The World Economic Forum Global Redesign Summit ended with concerns that the post-crisis zeal for reforming the global system may be waning.”

But congressional support for global governance will not wane on Carly’s watch. Agenda 21 and “sustainable development” are the new buzz words for “global socialism” through global governance and Carly sits on the Foundation Board at the mother ship.

This is by no means new for Fiorina though. Her affiliation with global activists dates back many years and includes some of our nation’s most nefarious characters.

An inquiring reporter worth his or her salt should be asking Carly to describe her long-term relationship with Dr. Khalid al-Mansour – aka Don Warden, Black Panther puppet master, Saudi Royal front-man and Obama education financier.

Fiorina is the ultimate Bush insider, and has deep ties to the surveillance state.

She is no “outsider.” She was recruited into the race to run interference for the Bush clan.

She has a long relationship with the Bush administration going back to 9/11, when she delivered an 18-wheeler full of servers to the NSA. From 2007 until 2009, she chaired the CIA’s External Advisory Board. I repeat — Fiorina worked for the CIA under George W. Bush...during the implementation of the domestic spying program PRISM.

She was appointed by Bush and Michael Hayden, who famously lied to congress about the NSA’s spying activities against all American citizens through our computers (PRISM). PRISM began in 2007, the same year that former HP CEO Fiorina joined the advisory board... She denies any wrongdoing.

Her Bush/CIA ties are laid out here (National RINO View acts like it’s a good thing):

Carly is the worst of the bunch!

She endorsed the California DREAM Act. She opposes repealing the birthright citizenship loophole. "I don’t support changing the 14th Amendment. I think what we need to do is have the federal government do its job and secure the border and have a temporary worker program that works. And all the rest of it is a distraction and, unfortunately, an emotional distraction." She also won't deport illegals.

She refused to endorse California’s Proposition 23, which suspends the job- killing AB 32 climate-change law.

Her PP thing? She endorsed Federal funding of embryonic stem-cell research for “extra” embryos.

In 2005 she invested in a health care website similar to WebMD that touted abortion benefits and directed users to Planned Parenthood. Fiorina joined RHG as an investor and board member when it was founded. Her campaign did not respond to requests for comment regarding her knowledge of the issue page and whether she supported its message.

As for Carly, she is a cold hearted fraud.

Her record as CEO of HP is horrendous! Between Lucent, HP and Compaq, she cost 30,000 American Tech workers there jobs. Just like Disney, many had to train their own replacements, in China. If American techies are not up to the task, why is it they have to train their replacements? She, like Cruz supports huge increases in STEM worker visas. In Cruz's case, a 500% increase in H1Bs. More unemployment for American workers. HP's stock jumped when she was fired.

CBS, CNBC, and USA Today called her one of the worst tech CEO of all time! Sonnefeld, a Yale professor of business management, said "You couldn't pick a worse non-imprisoned CEO to be your standard bearer." He also said, "She 'destroyed half the wealth of her investors yet still earned almost $100 million." Carly destroyed 3 companies. We all know about HP and Compaq.

Her record as CEO of Lucent:

Fiorina attacked Iran, but failed to mention that while she was CEO she sold them computer parts, which was against the law.

So, help me here, what is that word for a person who will do anything for a few bucks?

Let's see.

"confirmed to ABC News that Fiorina is one of the five candidates on the donor network’s watch list."

Meaning one of those five will be beholden to the "Koch Brothers’ network of donors".

I really like the idea of self-funding candidates. Our current Illinois Governor (Bruce Rauner - R) self-funded his campaign and the result is that the state is finally saying no to Chicago's demands for taxpayer help.

You consider Boss Hogg Mrwhite statewide totalitarian mobster tyranny, to be an improvement over the traditional local Chitown mob?

Of course you do, it's larger and even more oppressive, than mere local tyranny.

For the record, I'm not endorsing Fiorina, I just posted the news article. It's really just a guess of whom the Koch Brothers endorse, not necessarily factual.

All candidates should be scrutinized carefully, most candidates and political spinmeisters lie a lot!
