Taking a nod from the gay pride movement, abortionists are calling on women to celebrate their abortion experiences on Twitter with the hashtag #ShoutYourAbortion. Really. The goal, according to Amelia Bonow, 30, who posted on Facebook on Sept. 19 that she had had an abortion at a Planned Parenthood clinic in Seattle last year, was to encourage women who had kept their abortions secret to speak up. “A shout is not a celebration or a value judgment; it’s the opposite of a whisper, of silence,” Ms. Bonow said in an interview. “Even women who support abortion rights have been silent, and told they were supposed to feel bad about having an abortion.” For good reason. An abortion is the ending of a life. Above is Lindy West, one of the creators of #ShoutYourAbortion. “The problem for a long time was that this stigma felt like a negative cloud,” said Kate Cockrill, the executive director of Sea Change, a nonprofit organization she helped found two years ago to attack the stigma. Why is it a problem when ending the life of a baby is considered a "negative cloud"? Many of the Twitter messages showed the emotion surrounding the decision to have an abortion. Some women wrote about being pregnant and scared at 15, or living with an abusive man who might harm a child. So rather than risk giving birth to a child who might be abused, better to kill the child, so the liberal thinking goes. Many were already mothers, but said they were not ready for another child when they discovered they were pregnant. Oh, well, if it's not convenient, what's the big deal? It's like returning a pair of shoes, except the shoes are a baby and the return is a death sentence. Not everyone is in love with this agit/prop campaign. Someone using the name Lindsay* posted, “#ShoutYourAbortion is trending ... what a sad day. That’s like Hitler tweeting #ShoutYourGenocide.” But liberals still try to tug on our heartstrings During a legislative battle in 2011, Representative Jackie Speier, her eyes narrowed and voice choked with rage, revealed on the House floor that she once had an abortion. “I’m one of those women” who had an abortion, she said, adding that it was because of a medical emergency. When liberals have an abortion, isn't it always a medical emergency? Or, at minimum, somewhat of an inconvenience? The Seattle women who chose to bring abortion from the shadows this time around are writers and activists. Abortion was "in the shadows"? What's next, abortions in the parking lot of Home Depot? “One of the final hurdles is getting it into people’s heads that the reason for an abortion doesn’t matter,” Ms. West said in an interview. “Women own their own bodies, and you just can’t force someone to bring a baby into the world.” On her Facebook page, Ms. Bonow said: “Having an abortion made me happy in a totally unqualified way. Why wouldn’t I be happy that I was not forced to become a mother?” These leftist women view it as as being "forced" to let their babies live. How inconvenient for them! Now that having an abortion is something to be proud about, will there be annual abortion pride marches, complete with masculine looking ladies like Ms. West gyrating on floats in the shapes of vacuums and eggbeaters? The question here is obvious. Why would that woman ever have the need to get an abortion? I mean there are some rather innate birth control qualities present there.
Obama has played at being a president while enjoying the perks … golf, insanely expensive vacations at tax-payer expense. He has ignored the responsibilities of the job; no plans, no budgets, no alternatives … just finger pointing; making him a complete failure as a president
The answer is simple. how many times have you heard hillary clinton brag about the abortions she had while going to Wellsley college? Yet, there is a black abortionist that made one heck of a living doing abortions for white girls at Wellsley, he operated out of his house right around the corner from Wentworth university. So, if she is so proud, why hasn't she come out and bragged about the almost dozen she killed while in undergraduate school?
Sooo...who is more abusive in this case? The abusive husband/potential father who 'may' abuse the child...Or the woman who thinks babies are forced on her?
