If they would have run more RHers at them in Game 3 and/or Game 4 the series would probably be over... This is what happens when you don't use the good matchups you have to the fullest... When Darvish comes back that will even out the rotation and make matchups easier to accomplish. Especially if they use one/two of the young'uns to make a 6 man rotation, keeps everybody fresher and gives the young'uns some innings/experience... Vegetarians eat vegetables. I would imagine they had him wrapped up tight and "maybe" on some kind of localized pain meds... Good points all around. I guess Chi Chi will have to pitch more until Darvish comes back mid summer 2016. Colby and Gallardo FAs this off season. Gallardo gets a qualifying offer. And I'm not talking about a traditional rotation I'm talking about using the 6th man whenever needed to rearrange the rotation to get better matchups. He may start 15 games a year and be a long reliever the rest of the time... Vegetarians eat vegetables. Beware of humanitarians!

Well, at least Tulo won game 3 for Toronto and keep them alive. Other than that his fielding was great but his bat was a dud. Hope He gets it together for the next round.

Guessing no one told the Jays that it's not a good idea to sell beer in cans . The Yanks charge $8-10 for a soft plastic bottle of beer . Then they take the top off so it can't be used as a projectile . At that price no one is going to waste a drop anyway. Had it been Posada or McCann behind the plate when Bautista did the bat flip and pose before rounding the bases after his home run there would've been a brawl at home plate when he crossed it . I was on the fence as a kid . But growing up on Long Island ,and being taken to Shea stadium by my dad and the boy scouts I was inclinded to root for the Mets . Then they made a series of trades that killed my loyalty . The 1st one was trading Amos Otis for Joe Foy. Then they trades Nolan Ryan for Jim Fergosi . The trade that decided it though was moving Tom Seaver to the big Reds machine for a package that included Doug Flynn and Pat Zachary . I am now going to be a front-runner and jump on the Mets bandwagon. For the most part they are a likable group ;and I'm a big fan of Jacob DeGromm . Yesterday he "struggled" and gave up 2 runs . The best Yankee pitchers gives up that many runs in the 1st inning . Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?

These teams on paper look pretty even all the way across the board, ERA, BA, HRs etc, etc... So you would think it should end up being a close series with a lot of tight 1-2 run games. And I don't really see one team having the experience factor over the other so to me this is a tossup. It's to bad one of these teams has to lose but that's the way it goes... My mind goes back to Sept 9,1969 . Tom Seaver vs Ferguson Jenkins ...two of the greatest pitchers of all time in the middle of a tight race to decide the division. Shea was packed ;the crowd was raucous. There were loud applause and thunderous foot stomping .
