Like many of you, I too am becoming more and more convinced that pope Francis is the False Prophet of Revelation, the leader of the one world church during the seven years of Tribulation. If we are right, then that means that the anti-Christ is also on the scene. Looking at the political scene world wide today, there are many that seem to meet the criteria of anti-Christ, but there is one name mentioned over and over again that cannot be the anti-Christ, that name is Barak Hussein Obama. Barak Hussein Obama; While he is a sodomite, a man who has sex with other males, which is a requirement, he is also a half breed, he is the child of a prostitute, and not from one of the original Roman Empire, all of which are dis-qualifiers. Take so time to look at a map of the Roman Empire in the time of Christ, and see who you think is the anti-Christ. I have my thoughts, but this is neither the time nor place to post them, but I am interested in who you think it may be.

I forgot the map of the Roman Empire at the time of Christ. Please notice it does include Britain.
The terminology used in Catholic circles is 'anti-pope.' It would seem that, to no surprise, the SSPX Catholics have already labeled every Pope since Vatican II as anti-popes with Francis being the biggest of all violators in their opinion. If one glances at some of the more conservative Catholic sites like 'eh hem' TOS (FR for those keeping score at home), we see more movement of Catholics faithful to Vatican II, who saw all Popes leading up to Francis as true Popes and now see Francis as the anti-pope they were expected to one day see in 'end times.' So if everyone is about finished with all those Left Behind books and had enough of Tim LaHaye, go ahead and try on some Catholic eschatology works. They will make your head spin...just don't eat any pea soup before doing so. I think it is no stretch to say that scripture gives an impression of an age of antichrists in all walks of life -- and within the churches -- which will culminate in the appearance of the Antichrist. The False Prophet will be a syncretic world religious figure (like a pope) who will organize a world religion which will become the state church of the Antichrist's world government in much the same way that Catholicism became the state church of the Roman empire.

John Paul and Benedict both tried to lead Catholicism back to pre-Vatican II days . They were theologically opposed to the liberation theology that seems to guide Francis .

It is interesting to see lay Catholics that are into prophecy like that. Of course, they are focused on a (supposed) saint's prophecy, not any prophecy from scripture. Still, you can see that some smart Catholics have taken a lot of time to develop their line of argument against this Lefty pope. Only 20 years ago, you simply would not have heard anything this bold or specific from the conservative Catholics.
The validity of a religion, and its leaders, is typically guaged by the number of suckers who blindly follow it.
There is something you perhaps will never understand, and that is Christians don't blindly follow God. Their eyes have been opened. They understand, love, and follow God.

Now, think for a minute Bob, if I am wrong and you are right, what have I lost? BUT, if I am right and you are wrong, what have you done to yourself? Now let me make this statement so that what I sid above is clearer. I believe that for those of us who are Born Again Washed in the Blood of the Lamb Christians, this time on earth is the closes we ever come to hell. But for those who are not saved, this time on earth is their heaven. For as Jesus said in John 3:3, Be born again or go to hell.
