Carly Fiorina tops Hillary Clinton in head-to-head matchup: poll By Stephen Dinan Carly Fiorina tops Hillary Rodham Clinton in a head-to-head general election matchup, according to the latest Quinnipiac University Poll released Thursday morning that also found the former Hewlett-Packard CEO easily outperformed GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump in last week’s debate. Still, Mr. Trump continues to lead the Republican pack with 25 percent support, followed by retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson at 17 percent and Ms. Fiorina at 12 percent. Two Floridians, former Gov. Jeb Bush and Sen. Marco Rubio, are next with 10 percent and 9 percent support, respectively. Mrs. Clinton, meanwhile, holds a commanding lead in the Democratic primary, with 43 percent support, well ahead of Sen. Bernard Sanders at 25 percent and Vice President Joseph R. Biden at 10 percent. In the head-to-head match-up, Ms. Fiorina tops Mrs. Clinton 44 percent to 43 percent, which is well within the margin of error, making it a statistical tie. Mr. Carson is the strongest of the GOP candidates, easily outdistancing Mrs. Clinton 49 percent to 42 percent. Mr. Biden is the strongest Democratic candidate, topping Ms. Fiorina 46-43, Mr. Bush 46-41 and Mr. Trump 51-40. He runs dead-even with Mr. Carson, however, at 45 percent each. Both party front-runners are struggling with general election voters, however, who rate both Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Trump “not honest and trustworthy.”

Trump is the only Republican who can defeat the Democrat. All of the dishonest polls and efforts to manipulate the public sentiment through lies will not work. Fiorina will not be the Republican nominee, and if she is, she will be destroyed by Biden or Hillary. Trump is the only one who can win. If Republicans want to lose, then let them continue this desperate and pathetic campaign of smears, lies, push polls, etc., etc. If they are determined to lose, let them. THIS election, though, if the Democrats win it, will bring big change. If the Democrats win this election, the Supreme Court will shift, and Democrats will control it for the first time since 1969. They will execute a judicial strategy as effective as their other political strategies, and since the Supreme Court can strike down Congress, uphold executive action, and impose law as a matter of "the Constitution", President Hillary will be able to move much more rapidly to consolidate her power, and then use it to annihilate her foes. And she will.
Good. Maybe the two abominable swine will butt heads and destroy each other.
All of the dishonest polls and efforts to manipulate the public sentiment through lies will not work. Fiorina will not be the Republican nominee, and if she is, she will be destroyed by Biden or Hillary. Trump is the only one who can win. I see no evidence to support that. I do not believe Hillary will survive to election year, much less win. Neither Biden nor Hillary would fare well in a series of debates with Carly Fiorina. Public perception matters, and she handled Trump with no problem. She has dominated two debates. She may give Trump serious competition for the nomination. It would be an interesting shift if this election featured the first female major party candidate and it was the Republican instead of the expected Democrat. As a party nominee, Trump would face a challenge in widening his base of support. It would be quite different from attracting the largest share of the GOP primary vote. One serious contender will emerge from the GOPe and it appears that will be Marco Rubio. I doubt any GOPe nominee can win because so much of the GOP will stay home.
Carly Fiorina was an incompetent CEO of a major company - so bad that once she was fired nobody else has hired her since. She was an incompetent politician in her Senate run. She gives a good speech but has never successfully run anything. And if the Republicans are foolish enough to know that, it will be painfully obvious as she is dismembered on her record. Trump has successfully built and run a growing organization for decades. He's a proven leader. If the Republicans choose Fiorina over Trump, I hope they enjoy the Democratic rule they will get for their pains.
You can say that over and over like a mantra, but until you can distill that down to an effective 30-second ad that persuades and moves the masses, the election process will not be affected. Attempted swipes at the debates went nowhere. It was he said, she said, resulting in nothing.

Something to consider: If you recall, Romney absolutely decimated the boy emperor in their first debate. In the second, Romney completely folded. I wonder what happened? "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD . . . " ~Psalm 33:12a
In a month or two the field should be whittled down to Trump, Carson, Fiorina, Rubio, Bush, and perhaps Cruz, Kasich and/or Christie. The best chance for the GOPe is to have one GOPe candidate and Trump, Carson, Fiorina and Cruz splitting the opposition vote. If the GOPe destroys Fiorina, Trump and Carson get stronger. If they destroy Trump, Carson and Fiorina get stronger. If it gets ugly enough, Carson could be the winner as the best human being in the room. Ugly attack ads on Carson might have negative consequences.
I certainly can live with Carson. In fact, he's really the only one who is acceptable to me on the full package besides Trump. Cruz is alright, but I can't see it. Fiorina is not all right for myriad reasons. I think that the only one who can beat Biden is Trump.
