I liked James Kirkpatrick’s Vdare.com article on the #NRORevolt. I am old enough to remember the attack on Pat Buchanan by the NRO crowd. [A Conservative No More, The tribal politics of Pat Buchanan, By Ramesh Ponnuru, October 11, 1999.] I was a subscriber at the time and did enjoy the magazine. I was becoming concerned, however, that Buckley was “losing it”. I read the issues on The Bell Curve and Alien Nation and was glad to see the debate on some deep issues. This was the intellectual face of Conservatism way before Jonah Goldberg was there. Then the purge started. Brimelow and folks like Sam Francis and Joe Sobran were set out to pasture. They ditched John O’ Sullivan. insearchBuckley gave us his “anti-semitism is bad and we have to flush it out of Conservativism, Inc.” spiel–and used it as cover to get rid of ideas that have intellectual merit but were not part of the “company line.” The neocon take-over started, and I departed ways with NR. My magazine reading veered over to Chronicles and (occasionally) The American Conservative. NRO was no longer talking ideas but rather looking to enforce ideology–Paleos and Libertarians be damned. (I guess we were the equivalent of the Birchers and Randians.) What do we have now? Jonah’s book-long homage to Godwin’s law? There is no equivalent to Russell Kirk or Mel Bradford in the Neocon crowd. I agree with Kirkpatrick 100%–the Neocons sold out to the Beltway for money and position. A pox on them all!

Nah, the Neocons did not sell out. Their continuing mission has been to destroy the Conservative movement from the inside. http://www.conservapedia.com/Neoconservatism A neoconservative (also spelled "neo-conservative"; colloquially, neocon) in American politics is someone presented as a conservative but who actually favors big government, interventionalism, and a hostility to religion in politics and government. The word means "newly conservative," and thus formerly liberal. A neocon is a RINO Backer, and like RINOs does not accept most of the important principles in the Republican Party platform. Neocons do not participate in the March for Life, stand up for traditional marriage, or advocate other conservative social values. Neocons support attacking and even overthrowing foreign governments, despite how that often results in more persecution of Christians. Some neocons (like Dick Cheney) have profited immensely from the military-industrial complex. The centerpiece of neocon strategy was to invade in Iraq, which resulted in the murder of many Christians there, and the ultimate collapse into mayhem of that entire nation in 2014.

Simply stated, Neocons are liberals that believe in perpetual war on American society whether herein within America or at the world at large. That pretty much sums it all up.

They support limited government and limited spending and fighting war only to win and be done with it. Paleos say America first. Good luck to Israel and everyone else, but it is not our duty to fight their wars or pay their bills.
Other than on the religion,I couldn't agree more. When it comes to religion,don't even THINK anything negative about Jews,or you are going to be hanged. Even speaking ill of Islam is out of bounds. Not to mention Buddists. You can only speak ill of Christians and still be neocon PC. The TRUTH is it is a movement started by Jews that have multi-generational hatred for Christianity and who will support anyone or anything they think might bring it down. Speaking ill of Judaism or Israel is completely out of bounds,though. They want and need to preserve Israel as a hidey-hole to run to if they are ever indicted or need a safe place to hide. Truth to tell,they don't give a damn about Israel and only defend and support her because of selfish self-interest. In fact,if there is one thing that defines a neo-con,it is "selfish self-interest". I,PERSONALLY have trouble figuring out who I have the most hatred and contempt for,neo-cons on Muslims. It's kind of like trying to figure out of you had a same sex child molester more than you hate an opposite sex child molester. Both could disappear off the face of the Earth and it would only make Earth a better place to live. Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)

Neo-cons are RINOs. They are Israel-first liberals (Christian and Jew), predominantly from the northeast and the left coast. They fiscally support unlimited spending and unending war with no achievable military objective.
