The claim proves to be somewhat ironic given that the owner of the eatery, where President Barack Obama once dined when visiting Compton, is African American. CBS Los Angeles reported that Daniel Beasley sued Roscoe’s for firing him after he complained to human resources that the managers harassed him for being black and gave preferential treatment, such as better work hours, to the Hispanic employees. “It’s owned by an African American owner, but he gives full authority to the Hispanics to run it,” Beasley told reporters. “It just caught me by surprise because here I am getting fired when I’m trying to fix the problem.” Beasley was frustrated that his complaints to management never got addressed, so he sued. “It’s owned by an African American owner, but he gives full authority to the Hispanics to run it,” he told reporters. “It just caught me by surprise because here I am getting fired when I’m trying to fix the problem.” Beasley explained to CBS that he became homeless after he lost his job, so the hefty settlement becomes a huge victory for the grandfather from Compton. His lawyer Scott Cummings hopes that this win sends a message to other businesses out there. “Racism, racial harassment can occur really anywhere even in a black-owned business,” he asserted. Beasley added, “You can’t treat people like that and get away with it constantly.”
Legendary restaurant Roscoe’s House of Chicken ‘n Waffles has to cough up $1.6 million in an unlawful termination suit to an African American man who claimed he was discriminated against because he was black.

This is why employers are terrified to hire blacks. You are presumed guilty until you prove beyond a shadow of a doubt you are not! Ass backwards law. This is just going to make hiring blacks harder for employers because if they do not work out they can't just fire them with out a mound of certified paperwork to back them up. Thank you nanny feral government!
Or women. Or gays. Or the handicapped. Or Muslims. Given the choice, I wouldn't. Straight, white, married, Christian males. I'm running a business, not a social experiment. How is it that an employer can be racist when they fire a black employee, but they weren't racist when they hired him?
Progressives say you only got there off the backs of minorities not your the blood sweat and tears. So you owe your existence to other and will be punished until you understand what its like to be discriminated against. That way you can live on the street with nothing and are forced to steel to survive. Then progressives might think about letting you live at the next level! Progressives perverted the courts and have been reaping the benefits since the 60's. Some say the since the 30's.

And if some other white guy's great- great-grandfather owned slaves, I don't see why I should be forced to hire a black -- especially one whose ancestors weren't even slaves. How long are blacks going to hold a f**king grudge? Seems to me the Germans and the Japanese and the Koreans and the Vietnamese have a equal, if not better, complaint against the U.S., yet they're somehow able to function quite well in our society.
Its all about divide and conquer. They can not build their so called perfect society without breaking everyone. Once they do that its all down hill for them. Everyone will thank them for helping them up out of the hell they were in. When it was the progressives that put them in hell. It would be like the Stockholm syndrome. Thats why blacks vote almost 100% with their enemy the Democratic party.
