Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump this week offered more specificity on his plan to handle illegal immigration, floating a two-year benchmark for deportations. Trump said it would take 18-24 months to get the estimated 12 million immigrants living in the U.S. illegally out of the country. “We have to get them out," Trump said on a conference call with Alabama Republicans. "If we have wonderful cases, they can come back in but they have to come back in legally." The businessman said that goal could be met with "really good management," when asked on an Alabama Republican Party call whether immigrants could be deported in five to 10 years. Trump outlined his plan to tackle illegal immigration in a six-page proposal released last month, and has repeatedly said on the campaign trail that illegal immigrants "have to go."

Trump said it would take 18-24 months to get the estimated 12 million immigrants living in the U.S. illegally out of the country. His quotation of that bogus 12 million number tells me he's blowing smoke up our behinds.
A couple of days ago he was saying we need to let Syrian refugees into the US for "Humanitarian reasons",and the day after that he backed off and said we shouldn't. Who knows what he will be calling for tomorrow? Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
The problem with an estimate (time) based on someone's estimate (number of illegals) is that Trump is a shallow thinker. There are (at least) 36,000,000 illegals in America; that will take six years, if Trump is even close to being lucky.
If he is elected, he'll claim a mandate and he will do it. There will be all sorts of snares and hurdles, but he will drive straight to doing it. By contrast, all of the Democrats, and all of the other Republicans, will leave the door wide open and keep the illegal immigration conveyor belt running to bring them in. So the choice is between somebody who will do something, and perhaps find his timeline off. And everybody else who will do worse than nothing.
If the opportunity for jobs is subjected to enough attack, they will leave.
Along with chopping off all the welfare benefits. If you pay people to invade your country, they will invade your country.
Or resort to theft and relable it equitable income redistribution.

Of course not. For every illegal, estimated by the US government and other "official" groups it is estimated another three or more illegals are crossing. There is no accurate "official" number is what I am saying and the numbers are down-played by the goverment and media.
Of course there's no "official" number. But you'd have much more credibility if you cited a source which wasn't as biased as you say the government and the media is. But that takes some work, and we know know how you feel about that. We all realize it's much easier for you to throw out a number like "36 million" and just walk away.
If he deports just ONE more illegal shitbird than any other candidate, I'll vote for him.

I not lQQking for for, "credibility" .. I am stating an opinion that includes the inputs of thousands of governments (state and local) accomidating illegal aliens: sanctuary cities, driving licenses, etc. ... this is all across the USA. There is a reason.

Wow! I didn't realize you looked up all these numbers across the USA. So what did you do? Did you add up "a lot", "quite a few", "a bunch", "a whole shitload", "many" and "numerous" and came up with 36 million?
I might add, the method is infinitely more accuate and complete than any government method.
