Title: Saudi Arabia offers Germany 200 mosques – one for every 100 refugees who arrived last weekend

Saudi Arabia has reportedly responded to the growing number of people fleeing the Middle East for western Europe – by offering to build 200 mosques in Germany.

Syria’s richer Gulf neighbours have been accused of not doing their fair share in the humanitarian crisis, with Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman and the UAE also keeping their doors firmly shut to asylum-seekers.

According to the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, which quoted a report in the Lebanese newspaper Al Diyar, Saudi Arabia would build one mosque for every 100 refugees who entered Germany in extraordinary numbers last weekend.

It would be unfair to suggest that the Gulf Arab states have done nothing to help the estimated four million Syrians who have fled their country since the start of the conflict in 2011.

Just this week, the al Hayat newspaper reported that 500,000 Syrians had found homes in Saudi Arabia since the civil war began – as workers, not refugees.

There have also been significant contributions from rich individuals towards the upkeep of refugee camps round the Syrian border, estimated by the BBC to total around $900 million (£600 million).

But amid a history of competition between the Gulf states and Iranian-allied nations, there is a deep fear that allowing an influx of Syrian refugees could also let in Syrians loyal to Bashar al-Assad.

There also exists a more general concern about demographic change, leaving the states opposed to the idea of welcoming refugees. In the UAE, foreign nationals already outnumber citizens by more than five to one.

Back in Germany, Angela Merkel welcomed two refugee families at a home for asylum-seekers in the Berlin suburb of Spandau on Thursday.

She told reporters after the visit: “Their integration will certainly take place in part via the children, who will learn German very quickly in kindergarten. And I hope and believe that the great majority will want to learn our language very quickly.”

Whether she will welcome Saudi Arabia’s reported offer, which Al Diyar noted would “have to go through the federal authorities”, remains to be seen.

The "Gates of Vienna" are wide open.

I have a counterproposal...Let's build more churches in the Muslim countries for the undergound home churches...Oh that's right, 'they' kill anyone who is not Muslim but Europe opens their borders as beggars to their own demise.

but Europe opens their borders as beggars to their own demise.

The Europeans have a negative replacement rate and the only place they can turn for population is parts of the world where the people don't want to become European in any meaningful sense .

The angel added, “I will increase your descendants so much that they will be too numerous to count.” ......... The angel of the Lord also said to her:“You are now pregnant and you will give birth to a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery.

He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers.” Gen 16:11-12

If the Europeans opened their doors to Latin Americans, Latinos would flood into Europe.

Latino Christians would like Europe more than they like it here, because they would be better off.

But that's not going to happen anyway, because it would cost transport, the actual intentional transportation of people, at cost.

Illegals who come into America and Europe do so at their OWN expense. Costs less.

In America's case, it's going to cost us our language and our Protestant culture. In Europe's case, it's going to lose them the West.

Islam is going to take an interesting turn as it becomes the dominant European religion. A Muslim Europe will probably get its mojo back.

I just don't see Christianity recovering, because the particular weaknesses of people in general makes all Christians hypocrites, to a degree. But by being a hardass male or a submissive female one CAN in fact fulfill the tenets of Islam. It's not as hard, and it plays to certain human weaknesses and calls them not weaknesses.

The particular weaknesses - for money and sex - that all people have have caused Christendom to founder in the age of industrial urbanization and birth control. Christian societies never followed God's law of economics other than the First Century apostolic society. Instead, Christians have built up a whole set of replacement doctrines that are not from God, and that are not right, but that are now very old traditions, and that make Christians ignore God's law and follow their traditions without the slightest tremor of self-doubt. If pressed with the actual Law of God, a Christian is likely to call you a "Communist" for speaking such "absurd" ideas.

This hobbled Christian societies with a certain form of rigid, hierarchical poverty for centuries, but was not fatal to Christendom UNTIL contraception was developed that is cheap and easy. THAT, then, decoupled sexual pleasure from childbearing, and married couples (first) under financial stress (which is 85% of the society because of the unjust and wholly unChristian capitalist structures that the Christian world adopted to replace the actual Scriptural Law of God) decided to stop having as many babies. Then, of course, contraception made sex so easy that the need to even be married dropped away. Now most people are not (legally) married when they start having sex, and the rising generation will mostly not be (legally) married even when they have children.

And that has resulted in the demographic death spiral that afflicts every single white Christian country, without one exception anywhere in the world. The same juxtaposition of serious economic sin and sexual sin combines to destroy every society that practices it - the Japanese, for example, are not immune either.

We should not be surprised: the wages of sin is death, and the death of our civilization, which we could properly call "Faux Christendom" (REAL Christendom would have God's economic system, which prohibits the charging of interest (and all that entails) in finance.)

Christians are stubborn about their traditions, and will not repent, or even admit they OUGHT to repent, about their economic beliefs. And so Christendom truly is doomed, because God will not be mocked. Our economic system is a blazing sin before God. It violates every principle of God's economics and every principle Jesus elucidated, and that matters, because Jesus spent more time on economics than any other subject. When you speak of "the poor", you speak of economics, because YHWH said that if his laws were followed, there wouldn't BE poor in Israel. The fact of poverty is ITSELF proof of sin, and not primarily the sin of the individual, but the sin of society for having evil economic structures.

This matters, because IT is what is driving Christendom to extinction.

I do not personally believe that Christians will ever repent of their economic evils. I don't think most Christians even SEE the evils, or understand they things like the charging of interest, or making land ownership tentative ARE evil. But they very much are. And those things put such pressure on people that, if they can, they avoid having children. And the result is demographic collapse.

But that merely means that those who are still obeying God and being fruitful and multiplying - Latinos and Muslims - surge into the vacuum. The Muslims also do not charge interest, which is a second blessing on their civilization, rendering the jobless poor, but not hungry and homeless. WAR has driven the Syrians into Europe. Where they will breed and become the majority.

Christendom has a problem, and I don't personally think that it will right itself. I think that Christians will diminish and become a faithful, impoverished and persecuted remnant, as happened to faithful Israelites in ancient Israel. I think that Islam will grow and grow, and this in part because on matters of economics and reproduction, Muslims obey God and Christians don't.

Muslims err primarily in not understanding that Jesus is not merely a prophet but divine. Christians err primarily in that they refuse to do what Jesus SAID and DID.

This puts Christians at a real disadvantage, because the Western economic system, when coupled with contraception, is a deadly poison that kills every society that has it: the generations fail because children are a pure burden in a society that has interest and doesn't have secure land rights.

A key reason I delve so much into the Law of God is to try to bring Christians to their senses by showing them what they are COMMANDED TO DO by God, and make them realize their sin.

When I started this enterprise, I was full of hope - surely given Christian zeal, so loudly expressed, once Christians SAW the texts they would eagerly WANT TO DO what God commanded.

A few years of experience has taught me that quite the opposite is true. Christians have completely accepted the pagan economic system of the West as right, and true, and they cannot envision anything else as working. And they positively denigrate God's economics, calling them "naive" or "statist" or "socialist" or "communist" or - often - "theft".

Stonehearts. Because the system is evil, many are impoverished or strained, so they don't have kids (contraception makes that possible). So Europe will be Muslim.

It's too bad, but it's inevitable. Europe and America can preserve their languages and cultures, but they cannot preserve their Western capitalist economic system and survive. The economic system has to go, and be replaced by what God commanded - THEN people will be able to have babies again, and want to.

I do not believe for a minute that the Christian West WILL in fact ever repent of its economic system. Which means that we are as doomed as the Temple.

So, America becomes Hispanic, and Europe becomes Muslim.

Africa divides into the two camps and fights along the desert line.

China becomes the new England of Old.

It's all on the cards.

Vic the world systems of men are flawed because mankind is flawed.

You make a good case to indict civil secular governments and societies. Where we have some difference of opinion is on Christians in general. But I believe your point is in religious identity as Christians vs. standing before God. If your point regards Christians in general as an identity, or what's called professing Christianity your argument gains steam.

But I must defend Christians who do and have been faithful in much. The Christians of the US throughout history have been proportionally the greatest givers of charity in the world. I think I once saw that proportionally Ireland might have us beat. But if we search each nation of faithful Christians you will find the Heart of Christ in giving the needs of the physical and spiritually poor.

This is still a very giving nation. A lot of poor continue to live because of the great hearts we have in our Christian churches and homes here in the US and all points east and west.

Christians do a have a problem...We are not citizens of this world, but pilgrims. We sojourn on earth but not "of it." People should look at us and say "hey they are different." Which usually evokes a curiosity of what we're about, or an immediate rejection of the Gospel witness coming in word and deed.

So we continue to sojourn and faithfully follow Christ. For we know from the Words of Christ, that evil will increase until Christ's return where He will judge and rule.

So all these systems will eventually fail or be replaced. We sojourn until He comes in Glory.

Where I like the heart of your comments is this: the Kingdom of God is within the Christian, therefore we should be seeing it in action now in preparation for His Kingdom with no end.
