Two stage actors say cops made their taxi ride with a racist, homophobic cabbie even more hellish by arresting them due to a bogus dispute over the fare. Christina Sajous and Ethan Paulini charge in a suit filed in Manhattan Federal Court they hailed a cab on Sept. 11, 2014, at W. 13th St. and Seventh Ave. after attending an Off-Broadway show. The two were bound for Harlem, but driver Gregory Adolph refused to take the West Side Highway, papers say. When Sajous, 30, told the driver he had to follow the route they requested, documents show he said, “I don’t have to do anything for a n-----.” Paulini, shocked, said, “What did you say?” Adolph allegedly replied: “Now the f----t got something to say.” The furious passengers got out at 96th St. and Central Park West, paying Adolph $20 for a $19.50 fare. But Adolph, 35, insisted they get back in the car and go to their destination because he wanted the full fare, according to papers. He said he didn’t want to pick up another passenger headed downtown from the “filthy n----- neighborhood,” the suit claims. A new suit claims a ride with a racist cabbie got worse when cops arrested two passengers for failing to pay the fare. Paulini, 34, and Sajous threatened to call the police, but they say Adolph didn’t care. “Who would believe a n----- and a f----t?” he allegedly said. They opted to take the subway at the nearby 96th St. station. While they waited on a platform, four officers asked them to return to the street. Adolph, who could not be reached for comment, told the cops they had skipped the fare, according to the suit. So Paulini gave the cabbie another $20, saying, “If this makes you go away, please take it,” the suit says. “Now I paid it twice.” He then reached into his pocket to present cops with a receipt showing he had indeed already paid the fare once. “Never put your hands in your pockets around a police officer,” one of the cops allegedly barked. Ethan Paulini and Christina Sajous claimed that a wrongful arrested topped a 'ride from hell' with a homophobic and racist cabbie. Paulini tried to explain himself, but a cop said, “Show it to the judge” and pushed him into a police cruiser, documents claim. Sajous, who had a role in the Broadway production of “Spider Man: Turn Off the Dark,” was also thrown in cuffs. “So (the driver) can insult us and we are the ones getting arrested?” Sajous asked, the suit says. “Yup,” a cop replied. Charges against both for resisting arrest and skipping the fare were tossed last year, said their lawyer, Douglas Grover. “This is really an egregious example of inappropriate police conduct,” he said. Paulini and Sajous seek damages to be determined at trial. Adolph, the city and the officers involved are named as defendants. Adolph has a clean driving record, according to the Taxi & Limousine Commission, which has never received a complaint about him. “We’ll review the allegations and investigate the facts once we are served,” a Law Department spokesman said.

Yes, not only is there no law, outlawing "insults", but the cab drivers 1st amendment speech and opinions are protected. So, here's what you do. First, grow a thicker fucking skin. Then, ignore the ignorant cab driver but read his name on his posted license displayed on the dash. Then shut your libtarded mouths until you reach your destination. Once you arrive, pay the racist prick everything you owe... I suggest no tip. Then, exit the cab. Once the cab drives off, vent all you like. Call the cab company in the morning (complaint department opens at 0900 hours)... complain about the driver to the cab owner. Explain in detail his conduct and his name. Now, cross your fingers and hope the cabbie gets fired... and as always, boycott the cab company. The police need not be involved to babysit you pathetically weak dysfunctional SHEEP that are too intolerant to get along without government help.
The plaintiffs didn't call the police. They had a receipt proving payment. The cops arrested them anyway. You may not realize this, but ordinary people don't have the convenient checklist on how to behave with cops. While cops are trained to always treat everyone like a potential killer, ordinary people go about their daily business and life until one day someone pathetic soul makes their lives miserable. And then people like you blame the victims, as you have above. These two, according to the story, tried to walk away, even at a penalty, but they were not allowed to.
The arrestees weren't the victims... the cab driver was the witness and complainant... the cab company is the VICTIM... and the libtard DEFENDANTS are far from being victims. Only an anarchist like yourself would believe the ARRESTEE. Here is what happened, I've seen it hundreds of times, the Thin skinned libtard fag lovers didn't like the cab driver AND REFUSED TO PAY... and when they found out their thin skinned, intolerant idea of punishing the racist douche cab driver was ILLEGAL... they lied and said they paid him. YOU drank the kool-aid. And the police just didn't respond by crystal fucking ball... they were called by the civilian SHEEP... because they beg for government intervention. A little FACT you cop haters always forget about. You're quick to hate on the cops and bitch about the laws... but it's your peers that make the need for LE possible. They use to beg me, 14 fucking times a day, to respond to their dysfunctional homes, and help them with a dysfunctional situation that THEY created over several years but expected me to fix inside of an hour.
The charges were dropped, and without any proof of payment, I doubt their civil suit will get far, now will it! Okay so you are a racist too. A fine quality for a former cop, and doubtless the reason for your siding with the cabbie. The only thing I hate about cops is when they demonstrate blatant arrogance, hatred and bias in their work, or forum postings. The blame belongs with a society that teaches everyone from the cradle that the government should be trusted and depended upon for all needs at all times through a myriad of endless laws preached daily. Come to Ecuador and you'll see a place where personal responsibility is far more common and taken far more seriously than the average American would think possible. In Ecuador, the cops would have given the couple a chance to show their receipt. Sounds like it's good your off the force. Even given the length of your retirement, it's apparent you are still very burned out from the experience.
