New Jersey Solar Hydrogen House to be unveiled on 9/11/2015 HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP 9/10/15— A first-of-its-kind solar-hydrogen house that can go either on or off the electrical grid will be officially unveiled this week. What makes the residence on Woosamonsa Road in the township unique is that it is the “first commercially produced fully permitted and affordable” of its type anywhere, according to the non-profit Hydrogen House Project, which designed the house. “This is the beginning of getting our energy from above the ground and not below it,” said Mike Strizki, an inventor and founder of the Hydrogen House Project...snip The combination solar and hydrogen renewable energy system installed in the house provides power for all of the amenities required in a home, including a full kitchen, laundry, bathrooms, hot tub and multimedia entertainment systems. “This system only uses sunlight and water,” he said. “This is the most environmentally friendly energy system you can possibly imagine, where the byproducts are pure oxygen and water — pure water.” “This is the same system that the space shuttle used and NASA has used for the last 60 years,” Mr. Strizki said. “So we’re bringing that technology to the home.”...snip From Strizki's website- Features A 2013 tour of Strizki's own hydrogen house Strizki was featured in Scientific American in 2008 Inside the Solar-Hydrogen House: No More Power Bills--Ever Strizki will be at the 6th World Hydrogen Technologies Convention next month- and so will Op40!

So what is the payback time frame on this little system anyway, a couple of hundred years??
How affordable? Give us a price. Handing out your usual corporate press releases?
If you ignore all the trees that had to be cut down to make room for 40kw worth of solar panels.
Since it wasn't mentioned, you can bet it's not in their lifetime -- or their children's. And that's if nothing breaks in next 100 years.
