Thursday at the National Press Club, Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA), a candidate for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, went after front-runner Donald Trump calling him a “narcissist” and “egomaniac,” and saying his campaign is a “carnival act.”

Jindal said, “Donald Trump is not a serious candidate. He’s a narcissist. He’s an egomaniac. The only thing he believes in is himself. The reality is I want to say what everybody is thinking about Donald Trump, but is afraid to say.”

He continued, “Here is the truth about Donald Trump. Donald Trump is shallow. He has no understanding of policy. He is full of bluster. He has no substance. He lacks the intellectual curiosity to even learn.”

Jindal explained Trump’s got no problem with big government and that he just thinks he should be running it.

Jindal said of Trump saying his favorite book is the Bible, but not being able to talk about a specific verse, “It’s clear Donald Trump has never read the Bible. The reason we know he has not read the Bible is that he’s not in the Bible.”

Jindal: Trump a ‘Narcissist,’ ‘Egomaniac,’ ‘Lacks Intellectual Curiosity’

Trump, in spite of his weaknesses, has shown enough intellectual curiosity that that he may start a much-needed revolution the thought of which has many parasitic establishment politicians peeing in their pants.

I'm not overwhelmed by Jindal's pretentions of brilliance.

How will Trump claim that Jindal went down in the polls? I suppose Trump will remark that now Jindal is dropping out.

For all Jindal's claims that he would go nuclear, this seemed less aggressive than Perry's or Paul's attacks on Trump.

So, one by one the Establishment Republicans come forward, vent at Trump, and then drop astern unheeded.

The most important development of the day is the Justice Department's coming down hard on the side of Hillary Clinton. That means that Obama has decided to support her. And that means that Biden just won't do it, for personal reasons. The Democrats have nobody else.

An alternative is that the Justice Department's position on Hillary is SO over the top that it invites the Court to slap it down and demand the information. Then the blame will be on the court, in Democrat circles, but Hillary will continue to be gored. And Biden may have decided to come in after all.

On the Republican side, it had better be Trump, because he can beat Hillary and advance the country. Otherwise, get ready for Mrs. President.

An open letter to Donald John Trump:

Dear Mr. Next President,

At Midnight on October 15th, two laws go into effect in Maine.

First is the Constitutional Carry law which allows all who are legal to own firearms in Maine to carry concealed, a bill we have been fighting for since 1985.

The second law is The Ethanol Free law, which prohibits gasoline distributors from refusing to sell ethanol free gas.

Thursday October 15th, would be a perfect day for you, sir, to have a rally at the Oxford Hills Speedway. Since it is a work day, I would suggest a 7PM rally.

Oxford Plains is withing 90 minutes of 95% of the population of Maine, it has parking for thousands of cars, it has an airport in it’s back yard, it has camper facilities, it is within two hours of half of New Hampshire. And most important is it only a half hour from my house.

Please give it some thought, Sincerely, Rev. Bob Celeste TRUMP/CRUZ 2016 Harrison, ME 04040

PS folks you can help make this happen by calling Mr. Trumps office at: 212-832-2000 or by fax at 212-935-0141

How to Win the war on Drugs:

First pass Constitutional Carry laws with no exceptions.

Second Pass strong Castle laws with no exceptions.

Third, Pass strong Stand your Ground laws with no exceptions.

End of drug and crime problems. May even clean up politics.

Gotta agree . I don't think Biden is getting in . The emperor may not have any choice but to back Evita . Warren is nobody. Hillary is a grande dame, with enormous power and backing. The only thing that was going to bring her down was Obama nailing her criminally. But to do that, he needed Biden, and Biden is apparently just not up to it. I think that's a shame, because it's pretty clear that Hillary will be the nominee, and it's clear to me that if Trump is not the nominee, Hillary will win.

All of the Republicans except for Santorum and Cruz have decided to go after Trump. So they are. None of them can win - not one of them - except Trump - but none of them have the awareness or the self-awareness to see that. So, the Republicans may take out Trump by friendly fire, and then Hillary will be the President for 8 years, and her Veep for 8 years after that: a new era of Democrat dominance.

Considering what and who the Republicans are, that is inevitable. The Democrats are organized, have discipline, have a vision (one that I don't life), and they understand teamwork, stick together, and triumph.

Republicans are feckless, hapless losers. And they're so awful on economics in particular that they cannot get any traction.

Trump would change that. If he wins the nomination, he will fundamentally change the party.

He will beat Hillary, if the people give him the chance.
