Thursday at the National Press Club, Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA), a candidate for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, went after front-runner Donald Trump calling him a narcissist and egomaniac, and saying his campaign is a carnival act.
Jindal said, Donald Trump is not a serious candidate. Hes a narcissist. Hes an egomaniac. The only thing he believes in is himself. The reality is I want to say what everybody is thinking about Donald Trump, but is afraid to say.
He continued, Here is the truth about Donald Trump. Donald Trump is shallow. He has no understanding of policy. He is full of bluster. He has no substance. He lacks the intellectual curiosity to even learn.
Jindal explained Trumps got no problem with big government and that he just thinks he should be running it.
Jindal said of Trump saying his favorite book is the Bible, but not being able to talk about a specific verse, Its clear Donald Trump has never read the Bible. The reason we know he has not read the Bible is that hes not in the Bible.
So, one by one the Establishment Republicans come forward, vent at Trump, and then drop astern unheeded.
The most important development of the day is the Justice Department's coming down hard on the side of Hillary Clinton. That means that Obama has decided to support her. And that means that Biden just won't do it, for personal reasons. The Democrats have nobody else.
An alternative is that the Justice Department's position on Hillary is SO over the top that it invites the Court to slap it down and demand the information. Then the blame will be on the court, in Democrat circles, but Hillary will continue to be gored. And Biden may have decided to come in after all.
On the Republican side, it had better be Trump, because he can beat Hillary and advance the country. Otherwise, get ready for Mrs. President.

Gotta agree . I don't think Biden is getting in . The emperor may not have any choice but to back Evita . But there is always the blond haired blue eyed Native American who could serve the emperor's 3rd term. http://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2016-election/biden-colbert-not-yet-ready- commit-2016-n425396
Warren is nobody. Hillary is a grande dame, with enormous power and backing. The only thing that was going to bring her down was Obama nailing her criminally. But to do that, he needed Biden, and Biden is apparently just not up to it. I think that's a shame, because it's pretty clear that Hillary will be the nominee, and it's clear to me that if Trump is not the nominee, Hillary will win.
All of the Republicans except for Santorum and Cruz have decided to go after Trump. So they are. None of them can win - not one of them - except Trump - but none of them have the awareness or the self-awareness to see that. So, the Republicans may take out Trump by friendly fire, and then Hillary will be the President for 8 years, and her Veep for 8 years after that: a new era of Democrat dominance.
Considering what and who the Republicans are, that is inevitable. The Democrats are organized, have discipline, have a vision (one that I don't life), and they understand teamwork, stick together, and triumph.
Republicans are feckless, hapless losers. And they're so awful on economics in particular that they cannot get any traction.
Trump would change that. If he wins the nomination, he will fundamentally change the party.
He will beat Hillary, if the people give him the chance.
