"The purpose of it is to show support for Kim and also to let the world know that it is unacceptable to put a person in jail without bail because she followed her conscience. And not only that, but she followed the only law that is in front of her," the former Arkansas governor said in an interview Monday on "Fox & Friends," remarking that the Supreme Court could not prescribe specific implementations of its decision earlier this summer to permit same-sex marriage nationwide. The irony of the situation, Huckabee added, is that Davis is a Democrat and was jailed by a Republican judge. That judge, David Bunning, the son of former Kentucky senator and baseball Hall of Famer Jim Bunning, was appointed to the bench by President George W. Bush in 2002. Warning again against "judicial tyranny," Huckabee concluded that the issue is not just religious liberty but also whether the branches of government should be allowed to overextend their constitutional reach. 150907_barack_obama_ap.jpg Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee wants to send a message with a rally scheduled for Tuesday outside the jail where Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis is being held after refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples.

What happened before 2011 is not relevant to the religious question.
I ask for the third time: "Why is it that all those that want to come down on Kim Davis so hard, are all so silent about Obunghole, Congress, a lot of Judges, and city officials that operate sanctuary cities, and those that ignore selling baby body parts, and seem to show no appetite to impeach them with the same vigor? Nope, Kim Davis is as hypocritical as all these "leaders" in government. Here, let me say it this way: heap BIG liar speak with fork tongue = Kim Davis. Let her rot in jail.

So, you all should want him impeached as well The power of impeachmnet rests with Congress. The House brings up charges and the Senate adjudicates about those same charges. Today, the GOP maintains the majority in both the Senate and the House. Obviously, you have your head screwed on backwards, since the GOP will not even properly budget for our national soveignty; indeed, they consistently want to wage war around the world stirring up trouble where there should not be any intrusion by the US government to begin with.

I don't know or much care if you read my posts. But, I shall say that on LF, I am the longest standing poster outside of Stone that actively is still around these parts of Al Gore's Internet. With few exceptions in my posts, I don't care who the bureaucrat *IS*, I have nothing but contempt FOR ALL OF THEM. String 'em all high from the nearest Oak tree!
