Thanks for the class war comic.

Actually, in the United States Paula would qualify for a Pell Grant paying for her college.

Both my parents worked and my father had two jobs for years when raising their kids. Because they worked no Pell Grant. So I worked hard in school, competed and received a scholarship for college. That paid for tuition. I worked while going to college to pay for the other expenses and paid my own bills.

Paula is no dummy. She can do the same thing.

This comic avoids another category. The parents who refuse to work. But they get Pell Grants too.

How much is Pell Grant today? How is the job market and debt situation?

It's a GRANT. So you get money for doing nothing at all. Not a loan it's "free" money.

"Guys like" me? I earned my way through college. Your knowledge is lacking on American economics and how parents are heavily involved in (or should be)in a child's education.

Commies want government to replace God and family. Without God and His Divine institution of a man joining with a woman in marriage and then having kids to raise, government gets to become God, church and family. THAT is the false gospel you are preaching here...That government should provide for Paula, and it is not her reliance on God, family and church to meet her needs.

But your comic does hit paydirt on the two false gods in our world. Baal and the Golden Bull have been around long before capitalism and communism. The rich guy in your comic is worshipping as Jeroboam did to the Golden Bull (wealth) and replacing God as the focus. Paula is being encouraged to follow Baal as did Jezebel did. Baal being the 'king' earthly government to provide for her needs.

Pell Grants Cover Smallest Portion Of College Costs In History As GOP Calls For Cuts

There's a reason for the above...The expansion of other grants, loan repayment plans and in university grants. In university grants to low income students is money the university pays out of pocket but recieves compensation from the state or federal government.

So the truly poor in this country can go to college on scholarships/grants and probably have to work as I did for books and lab supplies and living expenses.

The only students complaining about repaying student loans are rich LIBERALS. They want the government to repay their loans even though their LIBERAL parents are filthy rich living in the Pacific NW, DC, NY, CA etc.

So first you must understand the younger generation of Americans going to college now have multiple options to pay for college. But for some reason everyone forgets things in this world cost money including education. But no one wants to use THEIR cash to pay for things they need. They want government to pay for the things they NEED and spend their cash on things they WANT. There's a huge difference.

Now let's examine the REAL issue here. The true issue is not that people don't have enough money for college but that college is TOO EXPENSIVE. Why these 'compassionate' liberal university professors and administration require skyrocket salaries is amazing. Why don't the teachers, professors and university admin take a pay cut to help Paula in the comic to afford college?

Then they shouldn't go and run up a debt they can't pay back. Our country needs burger flippers, septic tank pumpers, veggie pickers and floor moppers too.

We aren't equal, and not every deserves a better job, higher pay or a higher education.

I'm one of those fortunate ones who paid my way through school. Started working in Middle School and worked throughout high school. I was hired by the food service the week before my Freshman year started and that job payed for most of the rest of my education . The balance I financed (my parents were too "rich and privileged " for subsidized loans even though they had 5 children ,of which one of them very ill.) I'm not complaining . The work I did helped form the foundation of the career I ultimately persued (which was very different than the liberal indoctrination degree I graduated with ) .

That being said ;I would NOT advise a kid today to go to college unless they had a clear career path already mapped out. The costs are too prohibitively expensive to 'discover oneself' taking basket weaving credits . I would advise kids to see if they can get most of their requirements satisfied with on line classes. Too many of my employees come into the workforce with impossible debt to pay . It really does prevent them from getting on with their lives ,like settling down ,purchasing homes ,having families .

They've been brainwashed into expecting Uncle Sugar or Mommy and Daddy will pick up the $50k yearly tab for a "college education" that these days is the equivalent of freshman year HS knowledge -- IF that.

A Masters Degree nowadays is more like a an Associate's Degree -- IF THAT.

Our country needs burger flippers, septic tank pumpers, veggie pickers and floor moppers too.

But...but...dontcha know those jobs are "degrading." EVERYONE is entitled to be VP of their company 5 minutes after walking off the stage with their Liberal Arts diploma? OR at the very least -- pulling down $75k working as a goob drone, pushing a pencil for their 2 hour (aka 8 hour) "work" day.

With all young, healthy bums and bimbos sitting on their idle azzes, cashing in checks, "Work-Fare" needs to be implemented as in the 1930s, when much of the current infrastructure was built. My grandfather was laying down cobblestone streets in the 1930s, and happy to receive a check to help support his family. Trump ought to propose the "Work-Fare" idea as well.
