Sunday airings will begin Oct. 4 at 8 a.m. MSNBC is moving reverend and talk-show host Al Sharpton's PoliticsNation to Sundays, network president Phil Griffin said in a memo on Wednesday. Its last weekday airing will be on Sept. 4. "After four terrific years – or as Reverend Sharpton said, 'a full first term' – PoliticsNation is ready for its next chapter. Beginning on Sunday, October 4, the show will move to Sunday mornings at 8:00 am," Griffin wrote. The show has aired at 6 pm ET on weekdays and will now move from five days a week to one day a week. "I want to congratulate Al and his team. For four years they have done a terrific job bringing his voice and a big spotlight to issues of justice, civil rights and equality. And as many of you know, The Rev never missed a show. I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do with a Sunday morning newsmaker program." Sharpton tweeted: "That new Politics Nation w/ Al Sharpton will premiere on my birthday weekend. I am honored with now being a Sunday Morning TV host, Great!!" The one-hour Politics Nation began airing on MSNBC in August 2011. It will air its first Sunday edition Oct. 4 at 8 a.m. Poster Comment: Poor MSNBC. They cannot fire the good "reverend" as he is a member of a protected class. What can they do?

Back before TV became 24 hours, 7 days a week - TV stations used to broadcast what was called a "test pattern" after the stations officially signed off at around midnight. There was no audio, of course. It looked something like this: Rumors that MSNBC will be reviving the test pattern to broadcast in Rev. Al's current prime time slot (to increase ratings) have been neither confirmed nor denied. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD . . . " ~Psalm 33:12a
I hope it doesn't interfere with the Rev-Runds Sunday morning church sermon. (sarcasm) Why is democracy held in such high esteem when it’s the enemy of the minority and makes all rights relative to the dictates of the majority? (Ron Paul,2012)
No sarcasm tag needed. This charlatan hasn't preached the Gospel for decades (IF ever.) And IF he's been to church on Sunday, it's been to "preach" agitation, hatred, and divisiveness. He's got nothing on "Rev" Wright.

Yeah, Sharpton's early history was actually fascinating. A shame, considering he was a gifted young man. He's live by the scam and by spreading hate for what -- now 50 years or so? Same as "Rev" Jesse Jackson. $$$$$$ is their "God."
Don't let his clown act fool you. He's just playing to his crowd of supporters by pretending to be at their level. The truth is he is one VERY sharp cookie,and is personally fearless.
