Sneakypete, do you have an opinion on the two referenced firearms? I have heard some good and bad feedback on both.

I've had a Kahr MK9 Stainless Steel with the two finger short grip for a number of years. I love it. It's single stack thin, and is easy to slip into your pants pocket, and sort of forget that it's even there. It's been reliable, and is easy for me to shoot. Those polymer frame ones would probably have more recoil since they're lighter. Kahr's are very high quality.
An extended magazine might be possible for you if you need more of a grip. It's a nice looking gun.
I carry in my front pocket with the flush mag in it. The extended mag is in my left rear pocket. It's single stack and pretty flat, so I hardly notice it's there. No pocket holster or mag pouch, just reach into the pocket and grab.
