Title: 61-Year-Old Man Violently Attacked by Police and Arrested for Singing a “Beach Boys” Song

Allentown, PA — A 61-year-old Pennsylvania man, Jim Osche likes to go out into public and sing as a means of relieving stress. On Friday, however, Osche’s stress relief would be met with police brutality.

As Osche walked down the sidewalk in front of Shula’s Steakhouse in downtown Allentown, the restaurant guests seemed to be pleasantly receptive. Many of them pulled out their phones to record this cheerful man giving his rendition of Beach Boys, Barbara Ann.

After wrapping up his song, though, Osche was met with police violence instead of applause.

Osche seemed to be agitated by the police presence and looked to have heated words with the officer. However, at no time did Osche touch or otherwise warrant the violent action that followed.

After he turned to walk away, the officer, who has yet to be named by the department, grabbed Osche and violently through this 61-year-old man to the ground, causing him to scream in agony.

According to Luisa Ranis Soos, who posted the video to Facebook, the guards claimed that Osche touched the officer. However, according to the video, this was entirely false.

Though Osche was arrested and held in a jail cell for over an hour, police did not inform him of any charges, only saying, according to Osche, that he would be “cited by mail.” This is likely due to the fact that he hadn’t broken any laws.

According to mcall.com,

(Osche) said he is going to engage a civil rights attorney and request meetings with the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office and police department brass.

“These guys need to be prosecuted,” he said of the security guards — who did not touch Ochse but stood watching — and the officer. “They have to be held accountable for the actions.”

Below is yet another video of why police in America are getting such a bad rap. Until it stops the animosity, which is not undeserved, will continue.

Ok,I was on his side before viewing the video and hearing him attempt to sing.

Now I am of the opinion the police didn't beat him hard enough.

I found this at The Morning Call:

This wasn't Ochse's first encounter with police. In 2013, he served about five months of a 88-day to 23-month sentence for criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Details of the incident were not available in online court records.

In February 2014, Ochse was charged with aggravated assault and other offenses after causing a ruckus at the 10th Street police station and biting an officer's finger during a struggle. The most serious charges were dropped, but Ochse pleaded guilty to resisting arrest and was sentenced to six months probation.

HAHA, he is a terrible singer.

Sounds like he had been drinking.

Could be. He was clearly delusional.

The police States have been dismantled in Baltimore and NYC,

I wouldn't want to live in those places now.

Life expectancy has dropped dramatically in those places.

Yes, the old guy definitely could not sing.

But he sure seemed like a harmless old guy, and was not harming anyone. I did not see any reason for the cop to do him that way. And wonder who the two big apes in suits were?

Welllll...after a fair medley the drunken vocalist pointed at and ordered the cops and SS to "get out of here." Of course that warranted a WWF take down! If there were ropes to leap from, that cop would have leaped like Macho Man onto the poor guy.

Waste of energy from a cop without an iota discipline. I'm assuming he possesses a very small manhood "package" from the roids.

So, now we officially know what we expected: The guy is mentally ill. But thanks to liberal politicians, all the Crazy Houses have been closed down. Now they dwell...among us.

No, there wasn't any reason for Bubba to take down the poor nutcase. I guess he was a stud with his blow-up doll later on that evening ;-)

My guess is he was disturbing the people having dinner/

I did not see any reason for the cop to do him that way.

The old guy seemed to cop an attitude and started getting verbally aggressive, and from his body language seemed to be getting ready to get physical. I'm going to have to give the cops the benefit of the doubt on this one.

And wonder who the two big apes in suits were?

I believe they were local security guys based on the mention of local security in the news report. Probably a upscale trendy eating joint that has security hired because some people sit outside to eat and drink.

How else are the lawyers that write and pass these laws going to be able to get that easy public money by having a junior partner pretend to defend them in court and then hit the court up with a huge number of billable hours?

Yup, that's been a big part of this particular insanity and ALL the insanity we've been noting for the last 20-25 years, ain't it? LAWYERS. Lib Lawyers. Making a buck from tossing traditional, law abiding America under the bus and making it...UN-SAFE. The ACLU and SPLC orgs have been behind a LOT of this crap.

Of course the other part of this equation is lib attorneys who charge the state for DESTROYING the state. Civilized society is yielding to lunatics and bullies as a result of liberal attorneys who turn EVERY sensible law or ordinance into a nonsensical liability by technicality. William Kunzler and Ron Kuby immediately come to mind.

Whatever happened to a police officer sidling up to the man and telling him the joke is over and move on? IMO the two big guys were there to block the filming by someone observed laughing and using a phone I suppose. The cops are getting smarter I guess.

Good question. I am GUESSING that still happens sometimes, but all we ever see and hear about are the cases like this one where it doesn't happen.

IMO the two big guys were there to block the filming by someone observed laughing and using a phone I suppose.

No,they were the security guys from the restaurant, and most likely it was them or their boss that called the cops in the first place. They were there to observe what was going on and to hear what the cops and the old guy said in order to protect the restaurants interests.

The cops are getting smarter I guess.

Not from what I have seen over the last 30 years or so. Seems to have been going steadily downhill the whole time to me.

Re: security from the restaurant. Good call, that seems obvious to me now. They did seem to make sure video was not clear though. That would seem to be good business sense.
