What is the best political tool for defeating Democrats?

Think. Think real hard. Think real hard some more.

The BEST political tool for defeating Democrats is… wait for it… another political party.

And the BEST other political party to defeat the Democrats is… wait for it… the Republican Party.

No?

Did you know that the Republican Party is only at half strength?

“Half strength.” What does that mean? It means that in your voting precinct, where you live, the Republican Party only has, probably, one-half of the local, precinct-level, voting member slots of the Party filled with a warm body. These slots are called “precinct committeeman” in most states. And the reason conservatives have been pretty much impotent when it comes to having a voice “inside” the BEST political tool for defeating the Democrats – the Republican Party – is because not enough conservatives are “in” the Republican Party where it matters: in the local precinct committeeman positions.

Is it hard to become a Republican Party precinct committeeman? NO.

Does it take a lot of time to become a Republican Party precinct committeeman? NO.

Does the current Republican Party National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus want conservatives to become Republican Party precinct committeeman? NO. NO. NO.

Why not? Because precinct committeemen ARE the Party.

Precinct committeemen ARE the Party because they elect, directly or indirectly, ALL of the Party “leaders;” that is, the local committee officers, the county officers, the state officers and the 168 Republican Party National Committee members, who in turn elect the National Committee officers, including the Chairman.

If the word ever gets out that conservatives can actually take over the Republican Party by becoming precinct committeemen, the current members of the RNC, including the likes of Reince Priebus, are “toast” in the next round of Party officer elections. That’s why they will never breathe a word of this to you.

Do you receive fund-raising “survey” letters from the RNC, the National Republican Senatorial Committee and the National Republican Congressional Committee? Have your read them? They ask for your money and they ask you for your views and they ask you to volunteer. But do they ever explain that the Republican Party has only one-half of its “voting member” precinct committeeman slots filled? NO. Do they ever explain how EASY it is for a Republican voter to become a voting member of the Party? NO! Why not? Isn’t it obvious? Because the LAST thing they want you to do is to come “into” their little “party” and completely transform it – and throw them out!

Almost all conservative Republican candidates are afraid to tell conservatives about this because they fear those new conservative precinct committeemen might end up supporting some other conservative candidate.

Why do we have the Republican Party “debates” run by “moderators” instead of letting each candidate ask the other candidates, of their choosing, questions, with just a time keeper enforcing the rules? Because Reince Priebus and the other Republican National Committee members are mostly “Republicans In Name Only” and don’t want their favored candidate to have to answer hard questions.

Why do the presidential election “debates” continue to be run by the non-profit debate commission that the RNC foolishly entered into years ago? Because the RNC, made up mostly of moderates, is afraid of real debates.

Want to change this, dear conservative reader?

Then become a precinct committeeman in your precinct. Change your precinct. Change your local Party committee. Change your county committee. Politics is a pure numbers game, and if conservatives will get into the real ball game of politics, and outnumber the Republicans In Name Only “inside” our Party, conservatives can completely remake our Republican Party.

I live in Maricopa County, Arizona. Why did Donald Trump give a speech in Phoenix about illegal immigration? Because he was invited by our conservative Maricopa County Republican Committee Chairman. And why was the Chairman a conservative? Because a slim majority of conservative precinct committeemen elected a conservative Chairman. Majority rules.

It is not hard for conservatives to take over the Republican Party. Because, right now, the Republican Party is there for the taking, conservatives.

The Republican Party has about 400,000 of these precinct committeeman slots spread across all of the voting precincts of our beloved country. About 200,000 of them are not filled. Of the 200,000 or so that are filled, there’s a 50-50 split between conservatives and non-conservatives. As a result, we have a half-strength, ideologically-split party. Want to turn our party into a full-strength, 75% conservative majority party? Then become a voting member of it – a precinct committeeman. NOW! IMMEDIATELY!

It’s easy to do. It does not take a lot of time. It’s just basic American civics in action. When your country is in crisis – and it is – it’s your civic DUTY to do this. (I was taught this in 7th grade in public school in the late Sixties in Wisconsin).

Is it not YOUR civic duty?

Here is all you need to do. Attend your local Republican Party committee meeting once a month. That’s about a two-hour commitment. Then come primary and general election season, spend about four hours – just FOUR hours – helping to get out the vote for the best Republican candidates. Think of what our forefathers went through. Our armed service members. Can you sacrifice just 30 hours a year? Of course you can. And you will find it is rewarding!

I have written an e-book about how to do it. It’s not exactly a best-seller. I wish it was.

My strategy for doing this has been incorporated into Richard Viguerie’s book, Takeover. [Full disclosure: I get zero from the sale of this book. But please get it and read the last two chapters first!]

I can explain this political strategy in as little as twenty seconds (“Organize and unite for real political action where you live by becoming a voting member of your political party – a precinct committeeman – to help get out the vote for the best conservative candidates in the all-important, traditionally-very-low-turnout, primary elections and then again in the general elections”) but have also created many videos and given many talks that are more in-depth that explain the strategy. Here is a less than seven minute video explaining the strategy, which I call The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy (I have done many of these anonymously as “ColdWarrior”):

Here’s the text of my “precinct committeeman recruitment flyer” that I use where I live:

ACTION BY DOING vs. INACTION BY TALKING

If you really want to change the country, start by becoming a Republican Party Precinct Committeeman! It’s the most powerful office in the world because Precinct Committeemen determine who gets the chance to be elected to office at every level of government. Is saving your country worth a few hours of your time each month? I thought so. Please read on for what to DO.

1. To change things, we must change the laws.

2. To change the laws, we must change the people who make the laws.

3. To get elected, your candidate must be on the ballot.

4. To get on the November ballot you must win the Primary.

5. To win the Primary, you must get the support of people who make endorsements in the Primary, who reliably vote in the Primary, and who get out the vote of others in the Primary. Those people are the Precinct Committeemen.

RALLIES/MARCHES WON’T CAUSE REAL CHANGE

Most importantly, by becoming a Precinct Committeeman, YOU GET TO ACTUALLY VOTE FOR THE PARTY LEADERSHIP. YOU GET TO CAST A VOTE FOR YOUR LOCAL REPUBLICAN LEADERS UP TO THE COUNTY LEVEL, AND THEN GET TO ELECT ELECTORS WHO ELECT THE STATE AND NATIONAL PARTY LEADERS. If those who accept, understand and advocate conservative principles become a majority IN THE PARTY RANKS, guess what? The Party leadership voted in will be those who accept, understand and advocate conservative principles. THE WINNING PRINCIPLES THAT PRODUCED THE REAGAN LANDSLIDES. The Party again might appear to the voters to offer a clear choice from the Democrat Party, rather than an echo of it. HELP MAKE IT HAPPEN – YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU. HALF THESE SLOTS ARE VACANT!

ELECTION WINNERS MAKE THE RULES

United we stand, divided we fall. The left wants us to leave the GOP. The left wants to divide us. The left wants a weak, moderate GOP. And many weak, splintered Third Parties to siphon away votes from the GOP. The left wants us to be divided because that way they will defeat us at the ballot box.

DO IT for the sake of your country: call the GOP and tell them you want to become a Precinct Committeeman. Find out more at the web sites on how to become a PC:

One of the current Republican presidential candidates – if they are smart – will make the following pitch to their conservative audiences:

I am in this race for one reason and one reason only — because I believe our country needs good, old-fashioned, common sense solutions, both as to federal government spending and as to leadership on taking away government roadblocks in the way of the job creators in this country.

And I’ll only win this race if I have the help of conservative Americans — conservative Americans who have come together to organize politically in all those wonderful groups across America — the tea parties, the 9.12 groups, the TrueTheVote groups, and so on.

But I’ll only win if enough of the people in those groups join one more organization where they live — I need them, I need each of you, if you have not already, to join one more organization where you can really become effective politically.

I need you to join the Republican Party as a precinct committeeman.

We desperately need you, and there are plenty of vacancies.

Precinct committeemen are the backbone of the Party where you live, and if you unite with me inside the Republican Party, we’ll do two things — we’ll have a good chance of putting me on the Republican ticket in 2016 and we’ll do something that is just as important, if not more important.

You and I together will have revitalized the Republican Party into a well-oiled, much stronger Get Out The Vote machine for ALL constitutional conservative Republican candidates — and that’s the first step in taking back our government.

We’ve got to first take back our Republican Party.

With participation by conservatives inside it.

Just voting is not enough — we have to do our civic duty, each of us, by getting involved in party politics.

You know our beloved country is in crisis – we need more than “sunshine patriots” – we need warriors to help change our political party and help get out the vote for our best candidates.

It’s not hard to do. It just takes a little bit of time. And your country’s future hinges upon your participation.

And, believe it or not, it can be a lot of fun, too.

And I know it’s rewarding.

It’s very rewarding, personally, when you can say, “I had a hand in electing the Party leaders; I had a hand in helping to Get Out The Vote for my candidates.”

So please join with me and help me revitalize our Republican Party so we can take back our government and restore some good, old-fashioned conservative American common sense in the Congress and the White House.

Are you with me?

We CAN do this. We MUST do this.

Please do it for my kids. And for yourself and your kids.

This IS the political answer. We each have to do more than just vote.

Thank you.

If it caught on, the GOP insiders would change the rules to prevent it from going anywhere.

If Trump spearheads the effort to take the party over in this way (it's the way that Obama was able to rush the Western caucuses in 2008), then when the party moves to block it, it will only make him more popular with the people who see the GOP as corrupt and Trump as fresh air who could change it.

If it caught on, the GOP insiders would change the rules to prevent it from going anywhere.

That is what they do largely.

In 2008, there was a desire by the NV GOP to deliver all its votes for the eventual nominee, McCain (the result of the NV contest was divided but their state convention could alter that entirely). The Ron Paul delegates were there and had a good case that he actually had won the whole state outright. The NV GOP resisted, they adjourned the convention, stole the ballot box thing, then they called a new convention without telling the official delegates (RP delegates) and appointed new committeement/delegates out of thin air. It was even in court but didn't get anywhere. They also fought a rear guard action in 2011/2012 in NV.

In Iowa, the RP people got very serious, took over virtually the entire state GOP apparatus. By various means, the IA GOP party bosses have brought the RP faction under control. They haven't ejected them all but they tamed it down considerably and Iowa is a much more conventional GOP state party than it was in the 2012-2014 timeframe.

A couple of recent examples to study first if you really want to take over a state's GOP power structure. And I'm not sure that the RNC has to accept any committeeman that it considers insufficiently Republican. Regardless, if you only take over one or two state GOP organizations, they'll still outvote you on the RNC main committee, composed of around 70 committeemen that tend to follow their donor-connected chairman very closely.

Excellent post.

The blueprint for political victory is like war -- ground troops winning battle by battle...first it's a block...then a precinct...town...a county. At the local level is how conservatives must do this. But quickly.

Logically that should be the case. Heck -- the broad should be in Sing-Sing. But instead, she's played show & tell and patty-cake with Trey Gowdy for months. Threatened with the prospect of *another* 4-8 years of living in a banana republic under another Leftist-Fascist-Statist Dictatorship?
