Title: Jeb Stands By ‘Act of Love’ Comments and Earned Legal Status

Republican presidential candidate and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush stood by calling illegal immigration an “act of love” and his support for earned legal status at Thursday’s primetime GOP presidential debate.

Jeb was asked if he stood by his comment and support for earned legal status. He answered, “I do. I believe that the great majority of people coming here illegally have no other option. They want to provide for their family. But we need to control our border. It’s not — it’s our responsibility to pick and choose who comes in. So, I’ve written a book about this, and yes this week, I did come up with a comprehensive strategy that really mirrored what we said in the book, which is we need to deal with E-Verify, we need to deal with people that come with a legal visa and overstay, we need to be much more strategic on how we deal with border enforcement border security, we need to eliminate the sanctuary cities in this country. It is ridiculous and tragic that people are dying because of the fact that local governments are not following the federal law. There’s much to do. And I think rather than talking about this as a wedge issue, which Barack Obama has done now for six long years, the next president, and I hope to be that president, will fix this once and for all, so that we can turn this into a driver for high sustained economic growth. And there should be a path to earned legal status for those that here. Not amnesty, earned legal status, which means you pay a fine, and do many things over an extended period of time.”

This POS GOP candidate isn't going to be elected. He is going to be pushed on the American People. If he or Clinton is elected (and one of them will be) the demise of America is further demonstrated by the politically rigged game. Sooner or later the People will wake up that their elected officials are not elected at all; they are selected and have been since the VietNam War; which means that the voting process is just another charade.

They already have Buck. It is called Trump.

If you wake up too you will be on the Trump Steam Roller.

If you don't wake up we will carry you. You can thank us later.

ROTFL.

Trump is a Klouwn; similar to another pissed-offed yukon that pretends he has some meaning or purpose in life. He doesn't offer any solutions to this country's mess other than being an arrogant loud mouth pretending he is the chairman of the board of america.

You mock the (R)'s and (D)'s... you mock the candidates THAT PISS OFF BOTH THOSE PARTIES (like trump).... and nobody knows who you support. IMHO, your opinions are as insignificant and meaningless. You have no direction.

Having a third party candidate win the White House, and wield all of that administrative power (which he can use to go after the power structure of both parties, and their chief contributors, and throw it all out in the open), is itself a very positive thing.

Trump is a very loud, very self-certain guy. To take the sort of hell that will be dished out to ANYBODY who attempts to break a power structure requires somebody with that sort of bull-in-a-chinashop mentality.

Would Trump implement brilliant policy proposals? No. He wouldn't be able to get one law passed through a Congress that, bipartisanly, hated him. He would be like another Andrew Johnson.

But consider what a truly great service Andrew Johnson, the only President before Clinton to be impeached, did for this country. With the Northern victory in the Civil War, we were a one-party state. The Republicans, then very radical, were determined to punish the South and grind it underfoot. And Johnson, a Southerner who had been a Democrat when chosen by Lincoln because he was pro-Union, blocked all of it. He completely frustrated and defeated Congress for four years.

When Congress passed a law that effectively turned the US into a parliamentary system, by making the President unable to remove cabinet secretaries without congressional consent, Andrew Johnson bulled forward, refused to obey that law (which was effectively a Congressional coup, for the department heads, and not the President directly, control the departments - so if the Secretary of War cannot be removed, then the power to command the military effectively belongs to Congress, not the President).

Andrew Johnson was stubbon, blustery and hated, but through the power of his office he singlehandedly prevented the victorious radical Republicans from taking revenge on the South. And though they impeached him for breaking that law about cabinet officer removal, they failed to remove him so his decision stood.

By the time of the next election, Southern states were voting again, and sending representatives, and the worst edge was past.

We are in a country right now that is controlled by a cartel. It is a kleptocracy: in the credit crisis trillions were transferred to the private sector. We need somebody who has the strength to stand up to the whole thing and say no, and who then will paralyze it, wreck it - turn it into a clown show if need be - for four long years, during which, in the absence of Politburo control, new movements can spring up.

Trump has his own opinions, and he doesn't back down. And his opinions are not those of the Republican and Democrat Supreme Soviets. If he has executive power, he will use it, and he will use it in ways that will derail the normal operations of things, wreck a lot of nest-feathering and power- hoarding.

His proposals will not be good, but his interruption of the normal regime of corruption will severely damage the way the government does business, and in that creative destruction other shoots can arise.

In short, the US government is so corrupt that it needs, above all, to be BROKEN. Trump can break it. He has the balls to do it, and the wealth to protect himself against the attacks that will come. He is unafraid to assert himself, and he will use his executive power to enforce a view that doesn't make Democrats OR Republcans happy.

With Trump, like with Perot, there is a flawed candidate, but the only chance to actually BREAK the power structure. That's why he is needed: Schumpeterian waves of creative destruction.
