Third party or as GOP nominee. You simply cannot win the current electoral map with such negatives. And Trump is over 98% name recognition. And people know more than just his name, they know something about him as well. I don't see how Trump wins the party elite. No one becomes the nominee without the assent of the party bosses in the GOP, just like with the Dems. Then you have the lib GOP types, 9% of Republicans voted for Obama in both his elections. Right there, you're at 50%. Add 5% of the indy voters and 5-10% of your usual GOP country club types and you get to 60% anti-Trump voters easily. So I do find that polling pretty credible.
