SOME of this stuff is not only justified,it is necessary to prevent complete chaos. The problem is with the career polls who see this as an excellent chance to use federal money to push their agenda by using part of the money to buy votes. Sadly,there does not seem to be enough ethical Republicans to shut that shit down.
For every action, Pete, there is a reaction. Nobody was gonna stand too strong on fiscal conservatism considering the way the RATmedia has whipped the electorate into this unnecessary frenzy. Still, it'll take folks more than a few weeks or months to spend that $2 Trillion. Oughtta give ambitious Trumpsters time to dig into the details of that monstrous boondoggle and I predict the National Debt and annual Federal Deficit shall be a far bigger issues than they have been so far in the Trump presidency. MY best guess is once the bill is passed and the money borrowed and in the bank,Trump is going to start diverting it to building the wall,hiring more border patrol agents,and MAYBE paying off some existing debts early. The Dims can use political leverage to get him to sign a bill like that just before a Presidential election,but they can NOT tell him what to do with the money once he is re-elected and has access to it. After all,it's not like he owes them any favors and he is STILL conscious of how the history books are going to write about him and his presidency. Don't forget,NOTHING is more important to Trump than his ego and his place in history. NOTHING!
I hadn't thought of this before, but it does have the ring of truth. And while someone so focused on their own ego can be self-defeating, the fact that Trump realizes history will ultimately judge him and his Administration is a very good thing, imho...MUD

And fwiw, I believe LBJ was one of the worst POTUSs in American history. Carter was worse..Slick Willie just as damaging but for different reasons, but much of Obama's KRAP was accomplished via Executive Order, which Trump pretty much overturned in full, so history will look back at the ObamaNation as largely ineffectual, albeit very significant historically. So worst Presidents in my lifetime...Carter..LBJ/Slick Willie (tied)..then Obama. Then George Bush Sr., Nixon, Ford, Bush the Younger, and I am putting Reagan and Trump in a dead heat, but I sincerely believe Trump's 2nd term, with a compliant GOP controlling BOTH Houses in Congress and a public attuned to ignoring EVERYTHING the RATmedia spews, I fully expect Trump's 2nd term to leave Reagan's disappointing second term to shame...MUD BTW...I was born in June of 1963, so I actually lived for 5 mos of the JFK Administration..so I reckon I will put that fictitious Presidency (Nixon won Texas and Illinois in 1960) between Ford and Bush the younger.
