President Obama ordered flags be lowered to half staff in honor of service members killed on July 16 by a gunman in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mohammad Abdulazeez, 24, shot four Marines, a sailor and a police officer. The Marines and sailor died from their injuries. "Our thoughts and prayers as a Nation are with the service members killed last week in Chattanooga. We honor their service," President Obama said in a statement on Tuesday. "We offer our gratitude to the police officers and first responders who stopped the rampage and saved lives. We draw strength from yet another American community that has come together with an unmistakable message to those who would try and do us harm: We do not give in to fear. You cannot divide us. And you will not change our way of life." Flags will fly at half-mast and half-staff at a variety of government locations, including the White House, military posts, naval stations, embassies and military facilities abroad. The flags will be lowered until July 25 at sunset.

He hadn't even bothered to call the parents and loved ones of these Marines, but called the family of Whitney Houston fast enough. I can't wait until this hate filled man is gone!
