He's term limited out. Matt Bevin (R) will oppose Conway in the governors race. Bevin ran in the primary for the Senate in '14 in opposition to McConnell, but lost.
I'm not sure what this is all about. I just saw on the local news that gubernatorial candidate Matt Bevin is demanding that the state of Kentucky stop issuing marriage licenses. Like I said, I'm not sure where this is going.

I read somewhere that he jumped on the bandwagon to remove the statue of Jefferson Davis from the capital. I wonder if he gained votes, or lost votes over that? Si vis pacem, para bellum
Yeah, I didn't like that statement of his and he lost 2 points from me.
I have a cousin in Kentucky that was a supporter, but after that, she has abandoned him. Don't know who she will vote for now. Si vis pacem, para bellum
