If we elect Jeb Bush to be the nominee for the Republican Party, I will relentlessly and effectively push for a third party candidate in the general election.

This Republican primary will determine the fate of the party. There are millions of Republicans that see this time in our country as a turning point. We have a great opportunity to rally together clearly communicate our message to a generation that has never heard the truths and values that so wonderfully make up the conservative stance. Conservative policies work for everyone. They make life better for us all. However, the average American has never been given the opportunity to hear an honest presentation of our principles. I am 35 years old, been voting since I was 18, and have never been given the opportunity to vote for a conservative in the general election for president.

Party leadership and big doners have bought into the theory that if we simply elect someone in the middle, we will get everyone to the right of them and everyone in the middle, while the democrats are stuck with the far left. That is such a flawed simplistic campaign philosophy. The independents and middle voters are often moved by the passions and ferventcy of a candidate's supporters. The Republicans continue to elect candidates that generate no enthusiasm; therefore they fail to persuaded the middle. The conservatives have no passion, no ferventcy for a candidate who doesn't see why all of the conservative positions are crucial. It is not just about "social issues", it is not just about "economic issues", it is not just "foreign policy"; every issue is tied together. They are all related. They will all crumble as you allow one of them to slip away as we refuse to even give the American people an opportunity to hear a voice in descent of the left leaning media, education system, and the leftist politician. The American people have a natural bent towards conservatism. When given a fair presentation, they will more often than not choose values and freedom. If the country has shifted left, it is only because they have been hearing one side of the argument for decades now.

I for one am tired of the ineffective leadership of our party. I am not working for anyone's campaign, I don't work in politics, I am not a lobbyist, just a fed up conservative. And I view it as my pressing duty to make sure that I have the opportunity to vote for a conservative for president in 2016. If that means we have a third party, we split the vote, and the Democrats win... so be it. I know it would take a few election cycles before a conservative alternative to the Republican party would gain traction. But, at least a message would be heard. And my conscience would be at ease knowing that I am done compromising this country to death.

I still think there is hope in the Republican Party. I am not done with it yet. The average voters of the party are good and conservative. The money and power in the party has just been distracted and misled by the media and the insiders. They are detached from reality. If those in influential positions within the party would back conservatives that will communicate their message, not hide it, we will win.

I have never financially contributed to a presidential candidate before, I have never went door to door, or helped get people registered to vote. But if we elect a true conservative, someone like Ted Cruz, perhaps Ben Carson, or maybe with some strong convincing someone else, I will poor myself into their campaign. I will give financially, I will go to the nearest battle ground state and go door to door, I will give myself for this great country that is hurting and struggling so much. But, if we elect Jeb Bush, I will still give financially, I will still go door to door, but it will instead be against the Republican Party in favor of a conservative alternative third party. To Republican Voters: If we elect Jeb Bush to be the nominee for the Reublican Party, I will not vote for him in the general election. But if we elect a true conservative, I will not only vote for them, I will also campaign for them. Sincerely, [Your Name]

If they think the answer to America's woes is a Bush45 then they need to go the way of the Dodo Bird. They are an evolutionary dead end since they are determined to import democrat voters. One good thing about a new party that would displace the stupid RINO party would be no baggage with black voters.

Black Americans have been stabbed in the back by the ruling class who lust for importing cheap labor to drive wages further down. With a new party we have a chance for a reboot. We need an immigration time out, the last one we had in 1924 worked wonders, it allowed for assimilation into a unified tribe, Ted Kennedy's 1965 act (which RINO's so love) destroyed that America. Wages as a percentage of GDP rose during the timeout, and have been dropping once the floodgates were opened.

The late great Terry Anderson spoke the truth; his people have been part of our nation from the beginning and they've been stabbed n the back by democrats and RINO's.

If you have that much energy, perhaps you can direct it to where it would do some real good. Work to change the Republican primary process that continues to churn out these loser RINOs.

Three major changes:

One, eliminate open primaries which results in Democrats selecting our candidates. Seems like a no-brainer, huh?

Two, change the order of states voting for the candidates. As it stands now, liberal states vote first, and by the time the candidates get to the conservative states, all those who are left standing are RINOs.

There are 13 states in the "early" Republican primaries. In 2012, 9 ended up voting for Obama. How in the hell are we supposed to generate a conservative candidate by starting with them?

Three, end the winner-take-all system. If the primary candidate gets 56% of the votes in a state he only gets 56% of the state's delegates.

" change the order of states voting for the candidates. As it stands now, liberal states vote first, and by the time the candidates get to the conservative states, all those who are left standing are RINOs. "

I would suggest all states have primaries on the same day. I also agree about banning "open primaries".

That's a great idea!

I know - we'll work real hard. Since it's Harry Read's Senate that has been holding things up, we'll work hard in all the primaries, get conservative republicans nominated, show our outright disgust and hatred of democrat policies so much that even Mitch McConnell will promise to eliminate Zero-Care (if we give him a majority gop)

Boy - once we get a gop congress (House AND Senate), then you watch!

Oh boy - THEN things will happen.

They'll REALLY show that Obama. Then.

"Boy - once we get a gop congress (House AND Senate), then you watch!"

The only expectation I had, and that anyone should have had, was that a GOP Congress would stop the Democrats from ramming through legislation.

What did you think Congress was going to accomplish facing a Presidential veto on everything that came across his desk? Did you think Obama was going to sign a repeal of Obamacare? Roll back immigration? Get rid of capital gains taxes?

Seriously. What were you thinking?

Seriously. What were you thinking?

Ever hear of the power of the purse? Last time I checked, all spending originates in the House.

Yet the stupid gop (who some people think is an actual opposition party) goes after fellow republican Ted Cruz, NOT the boy emperor Zero.

Ever hear of actually winning people over (persuading) to your point of view? Do the republicans even HAVE a point of view? I see no evidence that they do.

Serious question to ponder: Why is it - whenever the dems find themselves in the minority - that government STILL doesn't shrink? Aren't the republicans for smaller government?

Why is it. - whenever dems find themselves in the minority - that individual liberties STILL seem to be taken away? Aren't the republicans for individual liberty?

"What was I thinking?" you asked? Oh, I don't know. I was thinking that perhaps I might be surprised and it would actually be different this time from the last time republicans held both houses of Congress.

Remember that? We had such gems as Kennedy/Boehner's "no child left behind" and other winners.

"Maybe they've learned", I thought. So I was thinking perhaps I might be surprised.

I wasn't.
