On June 19th, an accidental shooting involving a police officer was reported in Whitehall, Ohio. The officer was responding to an unrelated case, when a girl rushed over to him from a house down the street. Her sister Ava had been badly injured by a broken piece of glass, and was hoping the officer could help her. He decided to investigate the situation before calling an ambulance. Once inside, the family dog apparently charged at him, causing him to open fire on the dog. But instead of hitting the animal, he accidentally struck Ava in the leg (She’s currently in stable condition, and is recovering from her injuries). As bad as that sounds, the family has revealed their side of the story, and it’s far worse than the one reported last month. They claim that the dog did not charge the officer at all, and that after shooting their daughter, he didn’t offer any kind of medical assistance. In fact, they claim he never said anything at all. He simply walked away from the scene. Columbus police have since made a statement offering their condolences, and are currently investigating the matter. “The Division will take the steps necessary to appropriately address what happened, make any necessary changes to training or policy and take any corrective actions that are warranted to lessen the chance that a tragedy like this ever happens again.” ****** To sum it up - an innocent child will be spending part of her summer in a hospital bed because a cop was afraid of a dog. Oh, the “little girl rushed over to him?” Hmmm….a little bit of yellow journalism here to flavor up the story? Must be, since The Columbus Dispatch reported: You can never trust the yellow journalism agenda driven spastics to get the truth out....trust local news sources more.

From the "local news" source: The Ellis' live in Whitehall, but the Columbus police officer was at their neighbor’s house regarding an unrelated issue that had occurred in Columbus. They say instead of calling an ambulance, the officer decided to walk over to the home to check things out. Andrea says her sister went back in to corral the family dog, Patches, but the kids opened the door and the dog ran out. As Patches was running in, the officer shot at the dog, but missed, and hit Ava. The child was shot through her right leg and broke the bone. She's now in a cast up to her ribs. The officer says the dog charged at him, but Andrea disputes that and claims he just walked away, never spoke or offered help. "Instead of checking on her, he decided it was best to leave,” Andrea recalls. Columbus police tell 10TV the officer never left the scene, but Andrea says the whole ordeal is very vivid in her mind. Keep licking those jackboots you submissive little leather-boy. It's hilarious that cowardly cops who shoot at dogs because they are scared and hit a child instead are "heroes" to you and the rest of your repulsive ilk. So he "claims". Andrea Ellis didn't know how to answer her 4-year-old daughter Ava as she stared through the gaping hole in her leg left by the bullet's track. You can never trust local news sources,either. In fact,you have to trust them less since their advertising revenue depends on them having good relationships with the local cops and courts. The best you can do is gather information from every source available,and then look for obvious lies. Yeah,they do. Usually much bigger holes than the typical hollow point because they are deformed and flying sideways. NOT saying she was hit by a ricochet,and not saying she wasn't hit by a ricochet. Just pointing out the nature of the wounds they make. I will say there is very little in the typical home that will cause a modern jacketed bullet to ricochet,though. Not at all. What tater means to suggest is simple to understand:
the cop intended to fire his weapon; the cop fired his weapon and the bullet went into never-land and came back out and hit the poor little girl; it was no fault of the cop, at all. In fact, the devil may have prompted the cop to pull the trigger. No surprise there since Tater belongs to the "Church of the Magic Bullet" led by Rev. Arlen Specter. I see. This adds the fact that the girl Ava cut herself on broken glass, so the cop shot her for causing him extra paperwork. Why else would he kneecap a 4 year old?
