On June 19th, an accidental shooting involving a police officer was reported in Whitehall, Ohio. The officer was responding to an unrelated case, when a girl rushed over to him from a house down the street. Her sister Ava had been badly injured by a broken piece of glass, and was hoping the officer could help her. He decided to investigate the situation before calling an ambulance. Once inside, the family dog apparently charged at him, causing him to open fire on the dog. But instead of hitting the animal, he accidentally struck Ava in the leg (She’s currently in stable condition, and is recovering from her injuries). As bad as that sounds, the family has revealed their side of the story, and it’s far worse than the one reported last month. They claim that the dog did not charge the officer at all, and that after shooting their daughter, he didn’t offer any kind of medical assistance. In fact, they claim he never said anything at all. He simply walked away from the scene. Columbus police have since made a statement offering their condolences, and are currently investigating the matter. “The Division will take the steps necessary to appropriately address what happened, make any necessary changes to training or policy and take any corrective actions that are warranted to lessen the chance that a tragedy like this ever happens again.” ****** To sum it up - an innocent child will be spending part of her summer in a hospital bed because a cop was afraid of a dog. Of course THEY would "CLAIM" ... Claims are like assholes....everybody has one!
You gotta love that..."they". Who is "they"? Can "they be identified with full names and DOB? I had a Seargent that would say that. "They" don't like it when you do that. What it boiled down to was, HE didn't like it but lacked the balls to order me to conduct myself exactly the way he does for non policy regulated acts.
Ah, the yellow journalism makes it sound like he missed the dog and hit the girt. However, The Columbus Dispatch reported: Oh, it could have been a ricochet? Deceitful yellow journalism….working here at its best. And Deckard has no shame in promoting it….he is so pitiful.

Not at all. What tater means to suggest is simple to understand:
I see. It must be that evil gun and it's cousin,the evil bullet at fault,huh?
We should affectionately refer to "evil" as "ebil" so as to differentiate fiction from fact.
I frequently use the "ebil" word in posts.

The officer fired once, missing the animal but striking the girl in the right leg. It was unclear whether the girl was hit directly or by a ricochet.

the cop intended to fire his weapon; the cop fired his weapon and the bullet went into never-land and came back out and hit the poor little girl; it was no fault of the cop, at all. In fact, the devil may have prompted the cop to pull the trigger.
