Following this morning's history-making Supreme Court Decision on marriage equality, Vikings cornerback Josh Robinson took to Twitter to condemn gay marriage in a series of homophobic tweets. He event compared marriage equality to incest and pedophilia. "Love is love? So what will we say when the 30yr old loves YOUR 10 year old. When the dad loves HIS 6 year old? It's different? Yea okay!" the 24-year-old football star wrote Friday. "The day one person makes that stand, some may support, but many will say that's sick! That day I will say ‘hypocrites.'"

Minnesota Vikings cornerback apologizes for anti-gay comments MINNEAPOLIS, June 27 (UPI) -- After sending out a tweet comparing gay marriage to a man marrying his own 6-year-old child, Minnesota Vikings cornerback Josh Robinson had some explaining to do. On Saturday he apologized via text to the Minnesota Star-Tribune. Robinson also deleted the tweet. Well it sure didn't take very long for someone to make him change his tune.
Contemporary America no longer rests on the bedrock of religious convictions which includes sexual conduct. So, we see a shift in governance about sexual conduct which is largely absent of any religious foundation. But, all we are discussing is the acceptance of governance about sexual conduct removed from religious or personal convictions. There has been no change in religious or personal weddings at all. If you believe in marriage between one man and one woman, then go for it! BTW, I believe in marriage only within the context of a family environment which is typical for a one man/one woman marriage.
Really? Name one other sexual perversion, other than homosexuality, that contemporary America tolerates.

Heterosexual marriage vows include "forsaking all others". Indiscriminate sex while married goes against those vows. Are you saying those vows no longer include those words and people marry with the expectation that their spouse will cheat on them? And that's OK? Certainly homosexuals do.
The fracture of the family unit during and after WW2 destroyed America. Since the end of WW2, America has seen a quadrupling of divorces while marriages last a mere five years on average. The sexual urge has nothing to do with commitment or vows.
The "hook up" culture of sex for no other reason than scratching an itch is not just tolerated, it is celebrated. The old saying that a "woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle" was never true. The truth is, take away shame and responsibility and females need meaningless sex like men have always wanted it to be. Instead of the "stops" society imposed with shame, we have pride in number of conquests and "freedom". That is why the people under 45 have no problem with the LBTGQRS agenda. It frees them from being judged. They cannot judge a man sodomizing a man when they like it up the kazoo, and around the world too. Not without being hypocrites, and no one likes a hypocrite.
If you're going to make a statement, never apologize for it afterward. Make cerain you can defend it in the first place and do so.

There is no "sin" in today's US government decisions as religion and principles are completely removed from government. Sin is a relic for dinosaurs in contemporary USA society; religious creed and moral behaviour has little impact or underpinning about government decisions anymore.
This is true. The statement, The sin twice committed already seems permissible came from a rabbi 2,500 years ago and was acquired during my study of Judiasm 50 many years ago. The rabbi's statement was profound, and I remembered it. The word sin can be replaced by "malicious or indifferent transgressions against humanity" for more absolute clarification, but many people will know that is what was meant. Being non religious in the ordinary sense I characteristically avoid use of the word, but the quote here seemed useful.

I think Buck is saying that gratuitous sex and extra marital affairs is celebrated in our culture in literature, Hollywood productions, mass media and commercialization. I agree. Someone here once said that promiscuous heterosexuals allowed the gay advance in our culture. I have to now agree with that statement. The thinning of morals in our society allowed for a "whose to judge" mentality; then live and let live. At that point the gay lobby using a dumbed down and immoral society took the lead in the national dialogue. Had some conversations on this at work. The same men who decry the SCOTUS decision, also buy hundreds of dollars if not thousands worth of blue ray discs of movies and cable series produced in Hollywood. These productions usually include characters who are homosexuals put into a positive light or protagonist. Supporting such productions puts money in the pockets of the left and gay lobby.
