A Huntsville flag company saw a surge in the sale of Confederate flags on Tuesday even as its supplier said it may no longer manufacture the flag perceived by some as a symbol of hate following a church shooting last week. Poster Comment: This week the marketplace weighed in as Walmart, Sears, Amazon, Ebay and others suddenly viewed the Confederate battle flag as something to be shunned at all costs. The marketplace is responding. Every year hundreds of thousands of people across the country take a leap of faith and start their own business or adapt their business to change. The rewards of entrepreneurship are well worth the obstacles they face on the road to success. Its the American way.
I wonder who her supplier of the dyed flag cloth is. I suppose she might still be able to keep a supply since the manufacturer is likely overseas. Interesting that she just cuts flags from the commercial rolls of patterned Confederate cloth and adds the edging and the grommets.
