A Miami-Dade county police officer put his violent tendencies on display Wednesday as he threatened to beat a protester at the Miami Seaquarium.
Stunned protesters looked on as officer Gary Cadet angrily marched up and said:
Im gonna be honest with you. If Im driving my family, coming in here, and you call me an idiot, I will stop the car and beat your fucking ass.
On June 24, protesters were demonstrating at the Seaquarium, now owned by Palace Entertainment, holding signs as people drove through the entrance. One motorist gave the protesters the middle finger as he drove by, then the protester called him an idiot.
Officer Cadet witnessed the exchange and felt it was prudent to butt in with angry machismo. Apparently he believes that attacking a person is justified for simply being called a name. Perhaps the officer has a thing against protesting, or maybe he has a fondness for animals in captivity.
In any case, he exemplifies the violence bubbling just under the surface that characterizes so many cops. He could have provoked a nasty situation which would have most likely ended up with the protestor being injured and arrested.
Protestors have been targeting the Miami Seaquarium for years on behalf of an orca whale named Lolita. The endangered whale was taken from her home waters off the coast of Washington 44 years ago and has been kept ever since in the smallest orca tank in North America.
Perhaps the officer has a thing against protesting, or maybe he has a fondness for animals in captivity.
Probably just a general hatred for libtard activists. lol
