Protesters staged a rally outside the Colorado State Capitol to demand the removal of the Confederate flag from the state house. I think you may be right about this. The best thing that could have happened after this tragedy is to have handled it like the congregration of the church handle it. Then let the kid stand trial. The politicians may have fanned the flames of hatred but overreacting. They could had quietly had the flag removed without all the fanfare....they always have to seek the limelight.
