My dad served in the military and has a retirement check. That isn't welfare.
Welfare is handouts for people who don't work.
If an officer has a pension. That isn't welfare.
If someone has a business and they have contracts with the government. That isn't welfare.
I served in the US military during the Vietnamese "conflict." I do not receive a stipend for my duties from a fucked-upped US government directing Americans into war that has no reason around the world.
