My dad served in the military and has a retirement check. That isn't welfare.
Welfare is handouts for people who don't work.
If an officer has a pension. That isn't welfare.
If someone has a business and they have contracts with the government. That isn't welfare.
I served in the US military during the Vietnamese "conflict." I do not receive a stipend for my duties from a fucked-upped US government directing Americans into war that has no reason around the world.

Yea, I know. You volunteered this information to me when you asked me to explain to you how I could attend the senior Seventh Army NCO Academy in Munich and then the USAF Air Command and Staff College (the second highest AF professional school for officers) in Montgomery….when I was always in the Air Force.
BTW - Did you have a chance to visit your old unit which was redesignated the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC), now located at Fort Huachuca in Greely Hall, when you served with Simcox and spent, what was it – two days, here in Arizona “protecting our border?”
