Why are Republicans defending the Confederate flag? The Republican party made its bones killing Confederates waving that flag and sang songs about doing so. I think both sides were comprised of good and bad people. I don't hate Lincoln. I don't know enough about him. I never will. I don't hate the Southerners either. I notice today when go to the South. They are generally a whole lot more polite and friendly then my northern neighbors. I love the people of the South.
