Bush was Reagan's "heir apparent". It wasn't true and four years later he was tossed out of office just like Jimmy Carter. In 2000, the GOP establishment told us that another Bush was more like Reagan than his own father. It also wasn't true. George W Bush turned out to be the biggest spender since LBJ. The only thing that saved him in 2004 was the incorrect belief that W. Bush was busy rectifying 9/11. The reality was that Bush lost focus on 9/11 and decided to invade Iraq instead. Today in 2016, the GOP establishment is promoting yet another Bush. Of course, this time he is the real deal. Yeah, sure he is. Here are the magic questions: What is wrong with the GOP establishment and why should anyone listen to them any longer??? It's only the rank and file (i.e. dupes) who think the gop is anything other than socialist lite who lose. and why should anyone listen to them any longer??? I had a dear favorite uncle, who was. he practically disowned me when he found out that I did not vote for Jr, When I told him Jr would not stop the illegals, he practically wanted to fight. He eventually saw the light, and admitted he had been wrong. There were a lot like him. Mostly I think it was party loyalty, and hatred for the demoncraps. His was a generation that just could not accept that the party they had been so loyal to for all the years, would stab them in the back.
