As per title. This version of linux should be supported for the next 2 years.

Thank you - I appreciate all you have done for this site.

Americans who have no experience with, or knowledge of, tyranny believe that only terrorists will experience the unchecked power of the state. They will believe this until it happens to them, or their children, or their friends.
However, I noticed a minor problem with a thread I just posted about Martin O'Malley.
I tried to enter O'Malley as the first keyword for the article. When I previewed it, the form entry for Keyword_0 contained only the letter O but in the preview text itself, it did display O'Malley in full as it should. But when I hit Post, the article came back with only the single O as the first keyword.
So, if you are keeping a list of minor bugs to squash someday, you might note that a standard apostrophe does bollix up article keywords. This is obviously a similar situation as the problem you fixed with pinglist names that contained an apostrophe.

It's always something, eh? : )
Thanks, TC. Yes, it's kinda obvious what the problem is, and it's a never ending thing all to often.

Not never ending though. Your primary web forms were debugged long ago (setting aside the Unicode issue). So you're mostly swatting some apostrophe encoding bugs in a very limited number of forms.
Your reply made me think of other places that might still have an apostrophe issue, like the keyword bug. So I tried entering O'Malley in my Bozo list. After I saved it, I checked it again and it didn't work. Apparently, you don't accept user handles with an apostrophe in them.
I'm trying to recall seeing any user with an apostrophe in their handle. And so that brings to mind the password field. I'm not too sure it would allow an apostrophe in the password either.
I doubt that fixing the keywords apostrophe error or any of these other forms is a very high priority. You could fix them all and I'm probably the only one who would know or care (as we saw with the pinglist apostrophe error and your fix). Of course, fixing it does have some appeal from the software side of things. I've looked at converting the P code base to Unicode and internationalization but I'm afraid it is a bit beyond me. The way that Perl mutates and molests its internal strings drives me nuts. But Unicode/internationalization would vastly enlarge the potential audience for P forums though. There aren't that many decent web forum softwares out there. The most successful ones are the internationalized ones.

Well - that Samsung thing is pretty cool and all that - but spending THOUSANDS for a fridge - is RIGHT OUT. I bought a reasonably priced Frigidaire. (From Lowes) The delivery company will call me tonight on the ETA of tomorrow's arrival time.
I have a couple of coolers now filled with ice - in case of whatever...
EDIT:
The Frigidaire will replace the Amana, which served it's duty for decades. I'm sure you care...
Does that qualify as an elderly freezer? I keep wondering how long it will last. Also, will it outlive me? : )
Being that old I have no doubt it weighs more than you do. :o
“Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rapidly promoted by mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”
As I recall, it weighs around 350 lbs. 4 able men could move it but not easily.
My grandparents bought those freezers for their 6 newlywed kids from the mid-Fifties through the mid-Sixties. One got hit by lightning. I know two are still running. As I recall, the brand name was RCA-Whirlpool so you know it's very old. Dang, what does that say about me? LOL
I found a close match with a picture of the freezer. The unit was designed for and marketed to large farm families. Here's an auction where some guy is selling two ad posters for these models.
I recall there was a lot of space in the freezer even with a half of beef and a whole hog in it.
