A Kissimmee pastor is in the Osceola County Jail on charges of swindling Medicaid out of $94,000 for mental-health care that patients never received, according to the state Attorney General's Office. The Rev. Lynda-Lee Aikiema Gonsalves-Barnes billed patients as young as 8 months old, as well as her own employees' children and others who never sought help at the OAN Mental Health Center on West Cypress Street, court records state. Maybe she was administering the Word of God in Swahili and no one understands the lingo or the lexicon? There is no way, this issue could be her fault; the good Lord taught her everything.
More sour fruit from the Bush era practice of funding government-affiliated church programs. I assume this is barely the tip of the iceberg of churches engaged in federal fraud through these programs.
