An 82-year-old man was shocked to find a Texas SWAT team storming his home. Before Herman Crisp could even ask any questions the uniformed officers, clad in military gear, knocked him down, broke his hip and denied him medical assistance. Herman Crisp explained in an interview with local KTBC news that the Georgetown SWAT deputies threw a flash-bang device at him while he as sitting in a chair and smoking a cigarette outside. Crisp explains that the explosion knocked him out of his chair and to the ground. That’s when the SWAT cops moved in and slammed him to the ground again for good measure before handcuffing him. That second slam to the ground was so forceful that it broke Crisp’s hip. The SWAT cops refused to call paramedics, Crisp alleges in a new lawsuit just filed. His family says that when the found him the next day, he was lying in his own feces since he couldn’t get to the bathroom or to a phone. “After they left, I tried to get up because I had to go to the bathroom,” he said in an interview with KTBC. “And I couldn’t go. So, I just crawled over and laid on the floor right down through here. My sister had to call paramedics.” Now, even after two surgeries and physical therapy, Crisp is forced to use a cane to walk, something which wasn’t the case before this SWAT attack. Crisp’s attorney Boadus Spivey said this is nothing short of the Georgetown Sheriff’s Office engaging in a “conspiracy of silence.” “Things like this don’t happen in a vacuum. There’s nothing that we’ve been able to get that identifies the officers, that identifies the action that occurred. We have our client’s information but I had to hire a private investigator just to get enough faxed to determine whether I should file a lawsuit or not. And I’m convinced that the facts are adequate to file this lawsuit and we’ll find out now that we have some way to get accurate information,” the lawyer commented. The SWAT deputies had a warrant to search Crisp’s home. But they have not explained what they were looking for. The deputies have been so tight-lipped since the SWAT raid that Crisp says he was left with no choice but to file suit against Williamson County and the City of Georgetown. He is seeking damages in excess of $1 million due to the cost of medical care and mental anguish. Watch the local video from KTBC below… (Article by M. David and S. Based on your statement & question, it would appear you have already arrived at your judgement, without further facts which you are inferring were not presented. Therefore it would appear you are guilty of that which you appear to be accusing me of. Herman Crisp tried to paint this picture in our minds: The cops threw him down, broke his hip and left him there. He needed to go to the bathroom and could not. Let objectivity paint this picture in our minds: It may be possible to believe that the cops left Crisp lying in the floor immobilized and in pain. But it is impossible to believe a neighbor who was there during the entire ordeal would have left Crisp lying on the floor immobilized and in pain. So, we are dealing with an unknown fact. Thousands, literally thousands, of old folks get up and go to the bathroom every night across America, then fall on the way and break their hip. Do we know that is not what happened to Crisp? No we don’t. We don’t know any of the facts, do we? To be objective, we must conjure up some questions in our minds: How are we to know that Crisp did not break his hip at night when he was going to the bathroom? Because he said so? The reporter who published this story could find out what the neighbor had to say, why didn’t he? If the neighbor who was with Crisp the whole time during the incident would not corroborate, do you think the reporter would publish that? Of course not. Do you think if the neighbor did corroborate Crisp’s story the reporter would publish that? of course he would. So, we don’t know when or how Crisp’s hip was broken, do we? We only know what Crisp said. Repeating: It is hard for me to believe that the cops left him lying on the floor “immobilized and in pain.” It is IMPOSSIBLE for me to believe that a neighbor who was with him at the time, left him lying on the floor “immobilized and in pain.” If the cops violate procedures, then have at them. If the procedures are wrong, go after those in charge to change them. But let’s not let someone tell us what someone else said and believe it without question. Can we do that?
Now THAT'S funny. Yet that is what these morons expect us to believe happened. No doubt that's what they truly believe....looks like we are now finished here. "If it's on the Internet, then it's true....Duh!"

Let’s turn that around and see how it sounds coming back at you. If what was presented is to be accepted as facts, perhaps you can confirm the information is factual. I made no statement, I presented information from another source. I did ask questions. Asking questions is not arriving at a judgment. Tell me Gatlin, are you proud of them?

The swat team did absolutely nothing to the neighbor, the neighbor continued drinking his coffee. The swat team then proceeded to break Crisp’s hip and leave him on the floor. The neighbor did nothing to help Crisp with his broken hip. According to the suit, police refused to call paramedics and Crisp was left immobilized and alone. The neighbor finished drinking his coffee and walked away from Crisp leaving him in severe pain on the floor with a broken hip. A family member discovered Crisp on the floor the next day.
