At some point, the Millennials are likely to get tired of being the fall guys of the Left's vision of a government that is a combo of Big Brother, Big Nanny, and Uncle Sugar and America, World Police. We might be only a crisis away from an abrupt change in direction. Back in 2008, Ron Paul told backers urging him to run for prez that none of the serious thinkers among libertarians thought any breakthrough could come before the 2016-2024 timeframe. To: tpaine (#4) The GOP has a lot of choices. Almost too many. I'm not sure that will work well for conservative voters. This is how Romney dodged the rest of the field and used deep pockets to wear down the rest of the 2012 field. The Right had better settle on a nominee before the GOP elite can just impose their choice. The establishment works hard to make sure another Reagan type does not appear and disrupt business as usual.
