Today these women are yelling and screaming, but, soon, I think they will be armed. The police need to start fearing the people, look at the surrounding buildings, imagine what happens when snipers find the roof tops.

I did both and that didn't help. I don't speak jive. What's going on? The police pulled up and kidnapped two girls?
Can you figure out how the ambulance is suppose to fit into this?
I found this captioned under the video. It still doesn't say what's going on. We must protect our youths. This is a clear example of what people power is all about. These cops try to kidnap these 2 young girls, but community stepped up and did not allow it. Who knows what would of been the outcome if these two girls was taken by these plain clothes officers. These male officers had no right to put their hands on these girls, but they did anyway. These officers did not follow proper procedures and protocols. These officer should be fire and prosecuted for attempted kidnapping. Copwatch Patrol Unit (CPU) is going to continue to patrol communities that has been siege by the militarize police. Support CPU by sharing our video, joining our family or donating.
No idea. Maybe BobCeleste was driving? But I thought I heard one of the bystanders say something about "this will be on copwatch" towards the beginning of the video. Sure enough, that's where it was. So this could all be fake.
I think maybe they are filming a movie in the area and the guy with the video cam got caught up in the scene. Oh, well, with no explanation coming from Bob….I’m going to have to chalk this off as another case of the same old bigoted online pastor on his morning mission trying to preach hate. This was filed under United States News....like the old woman in the TV commercial said about the beef: "Where's the NEWS?" Just saw this posted to Stoner: "You have mail." I think a decoder ring in needed to get information, do you have one?

Off-topic? I can't think of anything more ON-topic than asking a poster what's going on in the video they posted. You refuse to answer? Fine. Then I suggest you not post anything in the future that you refuse to explain. You're wasting my time.

I do not know. I did hear them talk about the girls "pushing a button "??? But it does not sound like they assaulted or shot any one, or stole anything. I do not know.

No, they won't. They never do. And the first time there's some crime, they'll turn around and blame the cops for that too. The cops seem at first glance to have little or no cause to detain these girls. Laying hands on them without arrest is a bad idea. I don't like the mouthy guy making the vid, yelling "Respect the community, motherfuckers". Yeah, that sounds like a respectful dialog. The cops should have made an arrest and made it stick or just backed off. This was poor policing, IMO. As cellphones with cameras become near-universal, we'll see more and more of these kinds of vids. And cops will increasingly react to being filmed, now that the Court has ruled strongly for citizen video rights. And there will be increasing numbers of lapel cams worn by cops as standard policy so we'll get both sides of an encounter. These cops may have had adequate cause to stop these teens, possibly enough for an arrest. Unfortunately, this vid doesn't help us determine whether the police were acting within the scope of PD policy.
You may not like the source, but IMO here is a clearer take on what may have happened:
It doesn't seem to establish whether the police had adequate cause to detain these girls. If they had adequate cause, their only error was in failing to make the arrest(s) and cuff them and take them to the PD. If they didn't have adequate cause, they should have determined that more quickly and either arrested or turned them loose. As it was, it amounted to something that looked like harassment after which they slunk away. This is a bad example for any police to set. It's asking for trouble in the future. We need to see the video of a minute or so before these two videos started and to be able to hear better what was happening. The cops may have been fully justified in stopping and questioning the girls.
Fred, your video does not seem to show any more than the other one. It still does not tell us what this was about. Must not have been much, since the two "officers" got back in their car & left the scene.

I know. I feel foolish for replying to this video incident when there is important news out there. I thought some of the replies on that source were interesting.
Thanks for the link, but it doesn't add much. Looks like a simple "stop-and- talk". They found nothing and let them go. No big deal. But it looks as though it riled the denizens.
