A Mississippi woman believed to work at a Subway restaurant created a social media firestorm Sunday after posting messages online that applauded the deaths of two police officers killed in the line of duty the night before. The Laurel woman who uses the name Sierra C-Babi Mccurdy wrote 'Two police officers shot tonight in Hattiesburg,' followed by 'GOT EM' and a gun pointed at the words as well as laughing emoji. Because the woman was wearing what appeared to be a Subway uniform in one of her photos, the Clarion-Ledger reports, thousands of tweets and Facebook posts demanding a response from the Subway company began to almost instantly to appear. Scroll down for video Pictured in an apparent Subway uniform, Sierra C-Babi Mccurdy has been blasted on social media for allegedly applauding the deaths of two on-duty Mississippi cops Mccurdy's post immediately sparked outrage and calls for a boycott of her apparent employer Most messages were along the lines of @gatorguy's. 'Wow. This piece of trash was celebrating the death of 2 policeman in #Hattiesburg. Your employ, @subway. #Classy' However, some, like @TheNathanCook, urged a nationwide boycott of the sandwich shop chain. He tweeted: 'I will no longer eat at @SUBWAY due to the comments of an employee at a Laurel, MS location. #Subway should be ashamed. #Hattiesburg.' Twitter user @SteveRobertsESQ had a similar response, writing: 'I'll just exercise my options and start finding my healthy meals elsewhere.' Infuriating people further was another message Mccrudy wrote on Facebook. 'We can turn this bxtch into Baltimore real quick,' she posted on Facebook. 'Police take away innocent people lives everyday now & get away w/ it, fxck them…[no mercy],' she said. No doubt the brunt of thousands of nasty messages, Mccrudy has made both her Facebook and Instagram accounts private. Subway did not immediately return calls for comment. The deaths of Benjamin Deen, 34, and Liquori Tate, 25- the first such slayings to hit Hattiesburg in three decades - were felt far and wide in this small southern Mississippi city. I swear to God: After reading the headline, but before opening this thread, I thought to myself "these 'mass calls' are going to be some Tweets", and sure enough, that's what it is. No one should care about Internet comments from random people, be it the woman who made the stupid comment, or the people blabbing on about boycotting Subway.
No more than they should care about polls, imho.

I'm not getting your drift here. The Bundyites were alleged to point a few rifles at feds/LEO. Alleged, not proven AFAIK. I grasp you're trying scoring some points here against the Bundy supporters but it kind of escapes me. This situation is a lot more simple. Idiots have to work somewhere. This idiot worked at Subway and tweeted some anti-cop crap after a shooting. Some pack of needy asshat attention whores on Twitter immediately race to demand that her unwitting employer, Subway, must be punished with a boycott. It's ridiculous. A sandwich is just a sandwich. And an idiot is just an idiot, either this woman or the other Twidiots ragging on her, desperately trying for their 15 minutes of fame on Teh Interwebs. A pox on all their houses.
That is what I am saying as well - when 2 Bundy ranch protesters went hunting for cops and killed 2 of cops we had no call to boycott this or that - to call to boycott in this case is a waste of time.
I saw the Twits whined and threatened until the Hattiesburg Subway fired this woman. Maybe the manager didn't like; hard to imagine she was a star worker with an attitude like that. I'm not shedding any tears over her. But I like Twitter less and less after these outbursts by the Twits.
