If you are like thousands of others, you have no doubt seen an iconic photo of Baltimore burning. The image began circulating throughout social media after a local Fox affiliate in Memphis, Tennessee apparently first ran it. Some other mainstream media outlets even shared the image, using it with headlines that said “Baltimore is Burning” and referenced a “purge”. The only problem is it wasn’t from Baltimore. That’s right, the image was taken from Venezuela, not Baltimore. But for those who accepted Fox’s rendition of the story uncritically, the image became burned into their minds as being a scene of devastation in Baltimore. On April 27th, local FOX13 claimed the photo of the fires burning everything except the golden arches at McDonalds was “Baltimore In Flames.” Reverb Nation notes that one viewer noticed the image and placed it right away. They thought the image looked familiar, and pointed out that the story on the CVS burning was not Baltimore at all. The Imgur user said: “Now I understand why people mock Fox news so much…” After racking up tens of thousands of views, Fox acknowledged the “error,” saying: “Our team didn’t fact check the picture the way we should have.” Just imagine if Fox hadn’t been called out on this? How many more stations would continue to run it as an actual image of Baltimore in flames? Just imagine how much else they are lying to us about!

Thank you for straightening out that which was no small point. IT. WAS. AN. AFFILIATE of FOX. NOT 'FOX NEWS.' Everyone should note that neither CNN or that other national Leftist-Dem propaganda outlet, MSNBC, have "affiliates." For more context, Uncle Walter, Dan Rather, Brian Williams, and Peter Jennings were ALL liars for CBS, NBC, and ABC respectively at the national news level.
The traditional broadcast networks NBC, CBS, ABC, etc all have affiliates around the nation. FOX is no better than the rest. O'Reily, Hannity, etc are certainly no better than the others either. Alternative media is growing, these official establishment propaganda outlets are dying.
I find the discursive space on alternative media to be fragmented, nonresponsive and restrictive. Unreliable sources of information and agenda driven yellow journalism have become a plague to the alternative media in this postmodern generation. Furthermore, the alternative news sites are driven by sales where they have to go out and hustle for capital while Fox News has such an immensely large audience that advertising money comes to it. To get their money, the alternative media must promote theologically shaky authors’ book sales. Unfortunately, the owners and reporters of the alternative media sites tragically seldom come up with anything more solid that the endless speculations based on a schizophrenic attitude presenting a barrage of conspiracy theories which attracts a kook following. Conspiracies remain the mystical fairy tales that are believed only by those who are mentally unstable, with their black-and-white kind of thinking so typical of the authoritarian personality type. The only reason reason you are glued to FOX network is because of the robust tits that the female announcers present. If you strip away the lipstick, the breasts and other sexual overtones by FOX News, they operate the same ol' way as all other broadcasters. It is just entertainment.
Hey -- just because FOX News hired babes with brains is no good reason to dismiss sane conversations and truth about the issues.

FOX is no better than the rest.
I find information to the contrary. For example, Fox News is for the 13th straight year the most watched cable news network. Its primetime ratings grew in 2014. Fox News is tremendously popular with a loyal audience, an audience which is unlikely to ever shift to other news networks. Moreover, Fox News remains the most trusted news network, this according to recent polling done by Quinnipiac University. Fox News was the only cable news network to see growth.in April. Alternative media is growing, these official establishment propaganda outlets are dying.
