City State’s Attorney Says Freddie Gray’s Arrest Illegal, Charges Officers BALTIMORE (WJZ) — City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby says Freddie Gray received his critical injuries in Baltimore police custody and has charged all six officers involved in his death. The state medical examiner’s office turned over Gray’s autopsy on Friday morning, a day after the police turned over their investigation into Gray’s death.

HA! The Maryland Atty Gen is....(surprise, surprise!! You go, girlfriend!! Looks like a college kid); As are the incompetent criminal Mayor (who admitted to allowing the city the be destroyed) as well as the Chief of Police. Can this motley bunch really be trusted to enforce law and justice?? Baltimore is an annex of DC, which are annexes of Zimbabwe, Kenya, and South Africa. Total chaos, run by the usual suspects of unqualified morons and nitwits. Prepare for more Kangaroo Courts, and riots. ZERO and his regime will not stop their monkey business and Third World hijinks. I knew if the above proved to be accurate that the police officers would face charges. No getting around that even if Gray had alleged self inflicted injuries. Once a 'collar' is in your charge you are responsible for their health and welfare no matter what they were doing. What I find interesting is the comment about an 'illegal arrest.' Did he get arrested for no reason or his handling was an illegal arrest.

B'More's City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby is an affirmative action hire who will flub this prosecution, regardless of its merits. I'm expecting the toxicology report to show that Freddie was stoned and given the 'ear' witness testimony, this is a tough case to win, especially if one is a moron.

Ok, so is the charge for this guy abusing himself considered "officer negligence"? What I find interesting is the comment about an 'illegal arrest.' Did he get arrested for no reason or his handling was an illegal arrest. Which one of his 18-22 arrests? (or just the last one?) Q: With that many arrests, might this guy have been an Informant? Look -- EVERY crappy black-run city is scoping out ANY infraction or incident that indicts a white LE. It's like "Star Search." They WILL find *one*...out of hundreds of thousands.

Warrants have been issued for the arrest of the officers. I noticed there are no pics of the officers involved. Maybe I missed it in other 'news' articles. Yes a key piece to this. Noticed they did not wait for it to come in...or they did and thought it 'irrelevant.' Good catch.

They probably could not determine that from the very short investigation based on limited eyewitness testimony and the forensics inconclusive. Thus the charges which now must be tried in a court of law. Which one of his 18-22 arrests? (or just the last one?) The last one. The article called it an 'illegal arrest' which of course they gave no details on. One of the charges reflect this. Q: With that many arrests, might this guy have been an Informant? Good question. Also I note the police advocacy group is not backing down from defending the officers. So Bro, more to the story. The Sharpton run Balt. city government had a perfect opportunity...Mostly or all Black government and police chief and a situation where officers could 'pay' for Furguson and other places. Look -- EVERY crappy black-run city is scoping out ANY infraction or incident that indicts a white LE. It's like "Star Search." They WILL find *one*...out of hundreds of thousands. Which begs the question...Mostly Black city government, police chief, DA...what is the actual demographics of the all the police officers involved and charged? I mean how many white officers in a Black police chief's force go into Black neighborhoods without Black and Latino officers present? ZERO. There has to be a heavy minority representation in the force of 6 or 7 charged. If they are all white or mostly white then there's a bigger problem afoot...

Seems like they're overcharging them unless they have some truly damning evidence/testimony. Maybe the D.A. is driving for some plea bargains?

Nothing happened to it IMO. That is what a court of law will find out eventually. These charges filed on the 6 officers was EXACTLY what the race hustlers wanted in Ferguson. Charge and let a jury figure it out. Missing the point of a grand jury investigation. So this was done in Balt just to quell the riots, get some control, get people shopping again, allowing the Baltimore Orioles to actually play in front of a crowd and spend more money etc. Of course the summer brings money to the Inner Harbor. The decision was political and economic. They will have the neighborhoods, shops etc. all fixed up for these officers to be acquitted and the riots to start again. Thus Biden and eBolo can claim there are shovel ready projects.

The cops will be found guilty no matter if they are or not. The city needs some sacrificial lambs to deter any future riots.
No mention of Grey's (supposedly) having a prior medical condition related to his spine, as posted earlier.
I read it was allegedly for a switchblade, but that the knife in question was not actually illegal to possess.
I saw mention at HA that that was a rumor from TOS and that they later pulled it down, having missed the mark. There was reporting that he and his sister had both just received settlements from some company for exposure to lead back in the Nineties and he was trying to convert it to a $18K lump sump payment via Peachtree Lending. Otherwise, he'd have to wait until 2024 to start receiving $600 p/month for a total of $100K or so. So apparently there was an unrelated court settlement but no surgery.
I posted the Baltimore code statutes on another thread. Switchblades are illegal for all in Baltimore. Cops can't have them, though police are allowed to have a lot of stuff like brass knuckles and blackjacks. Tasers and electric shock devices are illegal for all non-police.

From what we'd seen during a full-blown riot, Baltimore LE may as well be "armed" like London Bobbies. Soon ONLY plastic "Sporks" may be the only legal utensil in the giant penitentiary -- now known merely as "Baltimore." Of course big (empty) glass liquor bottle as projectiles and Molotov cocktails are perfectly legal.... And according to the criminal black Mayor of Baltimore, "destroying" the city is lawful conduct. Switchblades NOT required. Only an order from PA Ave was.

I think I read it was allegedly for a switchblade, so if the arrest was illegal, then whatever he had wasn't a switchblade, or whatever constitutes an illegal switchblade. If he was knowingly arrested falsely, then this is really bad for the cops, as it adds malicious intent to the whole event. Baltimore streets are not that bad, either, so it's possible the driver may have been having a bit of "fun" by purposely handling the van roughly.
My question about all of this is how much is the Federal government going to be involved in all of this considering the Mayor is in bed with them and accepting their money? Remember what happened in Ferguson, even though Holders investigation found the cop to be innocent, the eye witnesses to be a bunch of liars and the Gentle Giant guilty, the Federal government still found the Ferguson police process to be inherently racist and started the process of changing how the Ferguson police do business.

Yep, it's a power grab. Fed.gov taking over state and local LE. It starts with the Injustice dept offering advice, then 'help' then comes the directives. Year by year we see SCOTUS decisions further emasculate states rights to prepare for Fed.gov to move in and control state functions and dictate laws.

Watch a re-enactment of what police say happened in the van. Here is my summary, based on what was released today and my inside info: The officers will swing (and rightfully so) for making a bad arrest (no switchblade) The officers will swing for not restraining him to the seat of the transport vehicle as per policy. The officers will swing for not getting him medical attention quicker.. both criminally and civilly. However, IMHO, it will be found that his injuries were self inflicted and because of that, the overzealous, more serious charges of Murder and Manslaughter will be tossed out at Grand Jury or found not guilty at trial. The new States Attorney, was a bit overzealous due to the newness of her position, she's black, her husbands town council position... and that she just hates whitie. Her overzealous charges will result in the greatest amount of rioting in our history when the big charges get beat.... is my prediction. I live an hour from that chaos... they better not bring their animal behavior to my yard... or lots of animals will die.

Apparently, he was arrested for the illegal switchblade after averting his eyes from the police. The illegal arrest is because of grounds of reasonable suspicion, not because he didn't have the switchblade he was arrested for.

White cops should refuse to conduct any LE in minority areas. Or demand an additional hazardous duty pay.
