Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton changed her avatar on her Twitter and Facebook pages on Tuesday, when the Supreme Court will hear historic arguments in cases that could make same-sex marriage the law of the land.
The justices will indicate where they stand in the dispute over whether states can continue defining marriage as the union of a man and a woman, or whether the Constitution gives gay and lesbian couples the right to marry.

In April, Clinton spoke out about same-sex marriage, calling it a constitutional right.
"Hillary Clinton supports marriage equality and hopes the Supreme Court will come down on the side of same-sex couples being guaranteed that constitutional right," Adrienne Elrod, a Clinton spokeswoman, said in a statement.
When Clinton launched her campaign earlier this month, her logo quickly became a topic of conversation. The bold font and red-and-blue color scheme left some wanting more.
