Whether you want to admit it or not, there are some black moms who do try and keep their kids on the straight and narrow.
Any rational human being has to have a great deal of sympathy for the parents of any race trying to raise their children in or around the government created black ghettos,where the majority of the denizens look up admiringly at drug dealers,pimps,and murderers. It can't be a lot of fun living your life with people looking at you like you are "one of THEM" because of the color of your skin or your home address. Especially when you can look around you and not really blame people for thinking what they think. You think that too,and want to get the hell out of there but can't afford to live anywhere else.

Some defy and smash through their own Stockholm syndrome of imprisonment, but if doesn't change the established "black culture." They even chastise their own for not being "down with the cause " or "acting too white." Who are you going to blame for this phenomena, Gandhi? The same case of established "culture" steeped in hate is found amongst Muslims as well. Are there good Muslims? Of course. But they also must fight to break out of their institutionalized culture of prejudice and hate. If they do, like many blacks, they too are ostracized.

"Some" blacks -- the ones refuse to remain brainwashed, the ones who defy and reject the establishment "black" culture's expectations for behavior are unfortunately the exception not the rule. Those cultural expectations are NOT to "act white," NOT to reject ebonics, and to regard Whitey as an eternal enemy of sorts. This is the default behavior mode taught of urban blacks whether YOU admit it or not. This pathological hatred of Whitey by plantation blacks' is their "universal" rule, NOT mine. I'm just an observer of this painfully transparent phenomenon. The flip side of that is blacks complaining that all whites hate blacks. It is a fact of life that the squeaky wheel gets the grease,as well as the teebee cameras. Not all blacks are northern or western urban blacks that live in ghettoes. It just seems that way because the politicians want it that way,and the byword of the media has always been "If it bleeds,it leads!" Nobody is going to spend any time or effort to do news stories on a guy that gets up every morning and goes to work to support his family. It just ain't a good story. When I go to Hardees to eat breakfast I almost always end up talking with a 93 year old black farmer that used to join up with my father sometimes for brief forays into the world of raising hogs to butcher and sell. His English is as good as mine and I don't even sense the slightest resentment from him when he is talking with me or other white people. In fact,he agrees with me that white racism and violence in the 30's to the 60's is being exaggerated,and in rural areas there was almost no trouble between blacks and whites. He showed me a photo today of him and his brother at their roadside vegetable stand that was taken in 1936. Because of his age he only farms a couple of acres now to have something to do,but he was talking with me this morning about the crops he had planted. Damned if he doesn't read the newspaper every day without reading glasses,too. I damn near need reading glasses not to just see the damn paper,never mind read it.
