Big Deal. ONE black mother decides to publicly chastise her criminal thug son, and now SHE is supposed to be the true exemplary face of embarrassed ghetto moms according to CNN? What a farce.
Yeah,it is a Big Deal. It sets an example for others and shows them it can be done. We should always celebrate what is good and right as strongly as we rant against what is bad and wrong.

Hey -- it's ok with me if you need to wave the pom-poms and celebrate the ONE supposed "mother" of a rioting thug who supposedly publicly chastising her supposed "son" smack dab in front of CNN cameras and lined up riot police. I'm sure it was totally spontaneous. *eyeball roll* I understand that desperate hope and case of Santa Claus syndrome. Just don't expect the rest of us to find solace and encouragement from a pinhole of "light" and contrived moment.
