BTW,everyone needs to notice and note that not once did he raise his hand to hit her back or to get physical with her in any way. He didn't even get verbally aggressive with her. This means he loves and respects his mother more than he loves his image before his homies or anyone else. He may be a little bit mad and a lot embarrassed,but he understands that his mother wants what is best for him. I think this boy has a good chance of becoming a respectable man because his mother is going to keep on him to make him into the man he needs to be.
OR...maybe this public chastisement was staged. Mama was finely dressed, complete with June Cleaver pearl necklace. Kid was masked. And CNN just happened to catch this incident, eh? Pfft. I call BS.

This [corralling her rioting kid] won't happen on any large scale. A bunch of kids in a metro area can be anywhere and it's mostly sheer luck this woman even found her kid out in those mobs.
